I certainly won’t be counting it as part of the larger film canon.
Aren’t there, like, a dozen canons now?
Yeah that trilogy was real weird and disappointing. I certainly won’t be counting it as part of the larger film canon.

I just mean I don’t count them as actual films. It’s an “interesting” mini-series at best.

In Cold Blood
The ending… holy shit.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
A Dog’s Way Home. I thought it was a great movie that was heartwarming and not as sad as people told me it would be.
Monster Trucks
A really fun time. Feels like it came out of the mid nineties, in the best way possible.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
The film How To Train Your Dragon 3 The Hidden World is a visually stunning and well made final chapter in a glorious trilogy. A must see with a beautiful message of denouncing hate of those different from ourselves.
^ I was debating whether to see that or Alita yesterday - We went with Alita simply because it was unknown, and I kind of wish we’d seen HTTYD instead.
Alita is technically excellent, thematically interesting, visually weird, tonally disjointed, and phonetically abysmal.

Lolita
Meh. Good movie, but underwhelming. Sellers was brilliant though, of course.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
APOLLO 11 (2019)
WOW! This is a MUST SEE. Saw this up on a full size IMAX screen. It was glorious. I feel like I was there on launch day. The quality of the film was spectacular so clean and crisp. Almost like it was shot yesterday. I believe it’s only playing until Thursday, if you can GO NOW!

damn, i would love to see this. but i need to guard my “go see a movie in theaters” cards very closely…
Seeing on IMAX tomorrow. So pumped!

Ho. Lee. Shit.
Visually stunning and suspenseful. You think you’ve seen all there is about Apollo 11, but you haven’t. See it tomorrow before the IMAX engagement ends!!!
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
As my old man was a NASA employee for many years, I want to see this on the big screen so badly. Only seems to be playing in L.A. until the end of this week, and we’re in the middle of another series of heavy storms.
Why the hell didn’t this get a wider release? 😕
Where were you in '77?
I think it will get a general release after the IMAX exclusive is over.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
I hope so. March used to be a quiet month for new films, now it feels like a dry run for May.
I really wanted to see it on the IMAX I saw 2001 A Space Odyssey at last year.
Where were you in '77?
Was that a 70mm print? Regardless, sounds incredible. This was the first time I saw an IMAX screening. Blown away.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
You bet your shrieking monolith it was 70mm. I wasn’t going all the way to Universal Citywalk to see a digital projection. 😉
The last major item on my cinematic bucket list is seeing a 3-panel Cinerama film.
Where were you in '77?
Found a smaller art house type theater not too far away, (closer than L.A. anyway) that gets Apollo 11 starting tomorrow.
I probably will still have to wait for the mutant weather to blow town. So much thunder and lightning around here last night, I thought I was in Florida! 😉
Where were you in '77?
Awesome. You won’t regret the trip!

The Third Man
I’m a bit confused why it’s so highly regarded. I feel like we don’t get to know any of the characters well enough for the ending to have the emotional impact it’s striving for.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

The film Captain Marvel is a fantastic movie about how one must cast off the chains of darkness and deception in order to find their true self. A must see and another great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
