This is a Star Wars site Snooker, I don’t have to “get out” as the guy in your black and white picture is motioning. So, I’ve never seen the movie he posted! Sue me! Hehe! I’m sure I’d enjoy it. There are people out there that haven’t seen certain films.

I would repost the gif in reverse but I can’t be bothered to find one.

It’s a shame that sarcasm is hard to convey in text.

The heroes never did anything for me, but if I had to choose one, I’d go for the princess. Back in the day, Carrie Fisher was really something special to look at.

That’s not what the question is. Unless you just like looking at yourself in the mirror or something.

I’d rather look at the (1980/3) princess.

The combination makes it best. They all complement each other. A Han character would be more dull if there was no Luke or Leia to balance it out and vice versa. I like them all for different reasons.

And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.

christianluce69 - registering with 69 in the username when your’re not born in 1969 is very funny and no-one has done this before. Not the many, many trolls, wums and comedians on the internet, nor past members on here.

However, with your humerous username… don’t be surprised if others on here join in and the mick a little with you (not at you - with you). If Snooker posts a ‘get out’ gif try to take it in the lighthearted manner in which it was was posted - you may find it better taking it in that context - instead of trying to pull them up on it.

Otherwise the moderators on here could come to conclusion you may be a troll or wum - and your stay here will be a short one.

And that would be a shame - as this seems a decent & promising thread started by you.

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

I guess I’m a weirdo who likes Luke’s character more than Han’s in all of the movies. His character is so relatable, while Han is really cool but not so relatable.

I like Luke very much. He’s the hero of my favorite story, therefore he’s my hero.
But Han is the guy I relate to. He’s the link to the real world that hooked me into the series and has always been my favorite character.

oojason has it exactly right, that’s what all my posts in this thread have been about.

Well, except for the ones aimed at the guy who can’t stop talking about how hot Carrie Fisher was.

It’s a bad answer! Of course the combo is what makes the film great, but the question is: Which one do you like best?

Wrong! It’s not a bad answer, it’s a bad question with no correct answer except that one. :p

You are right about them complimenting each other. I wonder if Lando Calrissean can fit into that complimentation

Never took it offensively but in real life, I was always rather “socially inept.” Though I am well into my late 30s and should therefore be well-skilled in the handling of “joking with someone,” or “micking” them as you call it, forgive me if I am not. When you deal with years of bullying from essentially age 5 to age 23…(my parents promised it would get better AFTER high school…sigh), then naturally while you may be skilled and mature in areas of a less social nature and still “a little slow” in areas of a more social nature.
In short, forgive me if I still have a mild difficulty with “comebacks” or telling if a person is “micking” me or if they are serious. It’s nothing personal and I am still a nice person. I’m not a completely lost cause otherwise I wouldn’t have a wife and son right now that I totally adore.
Lastly, you can joke with me but if it seems like me not understanding the difference between a joke and reality is enough for people to accuse me of being a “troll” then that is pathetic! Those people shouldn’t banish someone and write them off as a troll just because they can’t come up with clever comebacks or sense when someone is joking with them.
Snooker and TV’s Frink, don’t take it personal. I didn’t know how to react. That’s all. No harm taken here. Give me a chance. I’m cool.

No worries.

Cool. My post is kind of weird anyway but I was always curious if more people out there liked Han Solo or Luke Skywalker better, and despite that weird guy who keeps talking about how hot Carrie Fisher was, male or female, I always considered Leia a heroine. That said…I wanted to give the choice of the 3 to kind of get an idea how everyone felt about it. Me…Han and Leia are tied. I always found Luke to be whiny! That’s just me. Anyway, even still, thanks for partaking in my post.

I suggest you read my words again - as I haven’t accused you of being a troll. I was letting you know with having newly joined here, with that username and then taking issue with members’ lighthearted replies to you… that could lead the moderators to think you may be one.

Despite seemingly pulling me up to make a ‘pathetic’ jibe - and taking my words out of context to come up with ‘people shouldn’t banish someone and write them off as a troll just because they can’t come up with clever comebacks or sense when someone is joking with them’ - which no-one is saying at all - there is no harm done.

You’re certainly being given a chance - so let’s hope you are cool.

It takes graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate to make s’mores, therefore they are all three equally important to the s’more.
The chocolate is made even better by the marshmallow and graham crackers, but is clearly the best one of the three.
Han is the chocolate.

Chocolate is boring because it’s everywhere and everyone loves it and we’re swimming in it.

Marshmallow is clearly the best because absence makes the heart grow fonder and graham crackers don’t count because who the hell cares about graham crackers.

Wait, what were we talking about again?

I agree with TV’s Frink. Marshmallows are better! Han is the marshmallows, not the chocolate. Leia is the chocolate. Since the graham cracker is the least tasty of the 3…that’s Luke! They all need each other to compliment one another but s’mores can survive without the graham cracker. It would be weird but could work! S’mores without the marshmallow however…that’s just sacrilege!

No. Not at all. S’mores are chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker.
If you’re eating chocolate n’ marshmallows, then that’s what you’re eating. Not s’mores.
