I like him but I think sometimes his character is too much. Even then though his character has some great lines and isn’t shrill and unwatchable like the Nostalgia Critic is to me. James out of character is great too.

Just finished season two of Stranger Things. Episode 7 was garbage, but the rest was fantastic.

She was, but that wasn’t enough to justify the tonal whiplash. It felt like some crappy CW show that teenagers lose their shit over on Tumblr. I respect them for taking the risk, but it just didn’t work for me at all.
I like out of character James also. There was just a new actual Avgn video a couple days ago. It wasn’t very funny but it was entertaining enough to be worth watching and I think it was supposed to be more weird than funny.

I just watched the first three episodes of season 2 of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
I love this show. This season looks like it will be even better than season 1.

Just finished episode 3 of Mindhunter on Netflix. Pretty good so far, if a little on the dry and slow side - it’s like a very long Zodiac so far. The Kemper interviews are the most interesting aspect to me at the moment.

Bart is my favorite character. I have laughed at practically every single one of her lines this season.
Finished Stranger Things Season 2 over the weekend or Saturday. Enjoyed it, watched in 4K resolution and now waiting for Season 3.
I just got around to seeing the pilot for Inhumans. It really is as bad as they say it is. I don’t know how I got through it. Part of me was ‘marvelling’ at the sheer awfulness. The dog is the only thing that made me sort of want to look at the screen. In a Facebook gif sort of way. Moon city that looks like a shopping centre and a Royal Family more loathsome than British one. Are they really meant to be worthy of our sympathy? Arrrrrrrgggggghhhh!
Really enjoyed season 12 of Red Dwarf - just the one poor-ish episode, with some quality episodes in there.
Hope they do a season 13 - signs are looking good…

I’m a couple weeks behind on season 3, but I’ve gotta throw this out there:
Power through season 2. It’s much slower and character-focused and not much “happens,” but whatever your opinion of it, it’s completely necessary for setting up the (so far) absolutely incredible season 3.
