I’d say it’s still pretty easy to mail anonymously. My family got mailed white supremacist literature via USPS, we handed it over to the cops, and… nada. It’s been years. I’d be more interested to know if any hidden copier or printer codes are buried in those images. We’d probably have a better chance uncovering where those were produced than where they were mailed. Also, I know a postal inspector. It’s all about people mailing drugs, so the resources are already committed elsewhere.

I would think a return address would be required these days. Yeah, people could give a bogus address or Wrigley Field, but not having one at all ought to be a red flag if not a yellow one.

The Trump administration has evolved so far past empiricism that their next press briefing will be about how the report found no indications human are a factor at all in the global warming that isn’t happening, just as Sanders went on at length recently about how Mueller’s indictments demonstrated that there was nothing shady at all in the non-existent dealings between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence services.

WASHINGTON — Federal investigators have gathered enough evidence to bring charges in their investigation of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser and his son as part of the probe into Russia’s intervention in the 2016 election, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation.

Michael T. Flynn, who was fired after just 24 days on the job, was one of the first Trump associates to come under scrutiny in the federal probe now led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into possible collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign.

Mueller is applying renewed pressure on Flynn following his indictment of Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, three sources familiar with the investigation told NBC News.

The investigators are speaking to multiple witnesses in coming days to gain more information surrounding Flynn’s lobbying work, including whether he laundered money or lied to federal agents about his overseas contacts, according to three sources familiar with the investigation.

Mueller’s team is also examining whether Flynn attempted to orchestrate the removal of a chief rival of Turkish President Recep Erdogan from the U.S. to Turkey in exchange for millions of dollars, two officials said.

Multiple witnesses told CBS affiliate KENS that several people were shot at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.

Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt told the Wilson County News that a man entered the church and opened fire. Tackitt said there were multiple casualties and fatalities.

Dana Fletcher, a business owner in the area, told CBS News she saw a “ton” of sheriff’s vehicles and ambulances racing down the road. She said she doesn’t know what happened but said there was heavy police presence and people were being airlifted from the scene.

The Connally Memorial Medical Center told CBS News it received multiple victims related to the shooting.

The frequency has emboldened more shooters perhaps? Although the murder rate overall has gone down since 30 years ago. The biggest thing, perhaps on par with easy access to guns, is that mental illness goes undiagnosed so often.
