in other news Labour won Kensington (result finally announced earlier tonight) - the Tories had a near 8,000 majority there back in 2015.

Seems the Scottish Tories are distancing themselves from the DUP already (wouldn’t be too surprised to see some English or Welsh Tories join them).

This graphic may not be particularly good persuasion if their goal is to show how balanced mainstream coverage of the event was. To see the NYT with an unchanging stripe of anti-Trump stories, one could be forgiven for thinking that the New York Times had an agenda, regardless of the fact that Breitbart is a beautiful quilt of handwoven lies.

Also, ‘screenshotted’ doesn’t look like a real word when it’s written out.

Unlikely–there’s nobody like him in the Democratic Party anymore (there used to be plenty–in the 1940’s), and third-party runs are for people with far larger egos than him. And he’s done, which is a shame. My guess is the Dems will stop going further and further right, which is something, and run more of a centrist candidate next time. I’m thinking Kamala Harris in 2020. A liberal, I’m afraid, would be too much to ask.
