I updated the FB link and added a newspaper link as well.

Luke threw twice…maybe.

Same, man. I really think they shoulda’ thrown the towel in after the Black Ice tour though. Certainly when it became clear that Mal couldn’t continue. Rock or Bust has a few decent tracks, but it’s their weakest album by some distance and Mal is sorely missed on it.
To me, AC/DC is the Young brothers.
Or I guess was. 😦

Yeah, now that Brian is out of the touring lineup there’s absolutely no reason to continue.

Max Clifford has died at the age of 74.

It’s been disgusting how the new’s channels here have been virtually paying tribute to this asshole. quoting people saying what an amazing, nice, family man he was and brushing over why he was in prison in the first place. Hope he rots in hell.

The power of PR mate - often his brand of PR - disgusting.

Shows up some of the media for what they are too.

That is really sad news. Cheggers was a big part of my childhood. 60 is too early as well - especially for him.

Aye, I hadn’t realised he was a bit of an actor before doing the children’s tv I thought he started out in - loved Swap Shop, Cheggers Plays Pop, and then Superstore. That cheeky smile, laugh and humour - damn.

I thought you mean it was Michael Dorn’s son.

Regardless, that’s really sad.

especially when the person is young.

Not to be heartless, but that’s what makes it sad. If he was 90…eh.

Author

It is still sad even if the person is 90. But when young, it is sadder still. Surely you can see that the 90 year old dying would at least be sad for the family. Two of my Grandparents were over 90 when they died, but surely I still had the right to be sad about it.

Sure, but people you know and people you’ve seen on TV are very different situations.
It’s sad to hear that anybody has died before they even had a chance to really live life. Hearing that a person you like on TV/movies has gotten old and passed away is different. They lived their life and none of us last forever.
I hope that makes sense and dosen’t come off as “heartless”, like Frink said.

Well, I think it is sad when anyone dies, no matter how old. Of course it is sadder when they are young.

No, it doesn’t come off as heartless, but we are going to have to agree to disagree.
