That’s not how the rule works. You don’t download an edited version to decide if you will possess the original, it’s the other way around. You have to possess the original to have the right to download the edited version. The rule exists to protect the community. You not caring puts the community at risk.

See above. It’s not a “stick” it’s a desire to keep these forums open.

And you’re lucky you didn’t post all of this with your FE account, you’d be banned.

That post isn’t even worth responding to since it’s completely divorced from the issue. What is important is the rule I already quoted, plus what is posted at the bottom of every page here:

The forums aren’t going to close because I was interested in a film but decided otherwise once I watched it again.

Report me if you want. But don’t act like you’re somehow superior to me. Regardless of intent, you really don’t have to be a jerk. You’re not a mod nor an admin here. You might be at FE, but that’s FE. If they want to be strict to the letter then they can, but I’m not posting this over there.

All I said was that I was interested in a movie; I watched it; and I didn’t like it.

Man of Steel: A Symbol of Hope by TM2YC

Excellent edit. A bit more subtle than his Star Trek: Vengeance, but TM2YC did a great job with this.

Full review on IFDb since I just figured out how to log in there to leave a review (hint for anyone else who can’t figure out how to leave reviews there: it’s not the same account as your FE.org forum account).

Yeah, quizzing people and openly admitting you don’t own it aren’t the same thing.

Sorry to hear you are unable to watch the original Star Wars trilogy in higher quality than the 2006 bonus discs.

I fixed it, so it’s all good now. Not sure what happened exactly - think when I came back to the forums earlier this year I did a password reset on FE since I forgot my old one, but didn’t realize that IFDb was a separate account, so never did it for that.

Or something. I dunno.
