Is there a grain effect? There is in FCP7. I imagine that’d look better than video noise.

Yeah, I guess so!
I gave it the soft light setting and decreased the opacity until it looked right. I’d suggest exporting a master clip to gauge its appearance as the in-application viewer may not be a true representation of how visible it’ll be.
It’s was a overlay set to “soft light” setting. I don’t remember who sent it to me or where it came from, as that was about seven years ago!
Some great ideas! I’d be cautious of aping movie posters, as I can imagine gently rolling my eyes if I’d seen it in the theatrical.
Makes me think of something. One thing that did cause me to gently roll my eyes but not quite make a quip to my brother in the theater was the trooper in the distance on Kijimi saying something like “the door is locked, move onto the next one.”
I mean… mumble, grumble.
Hmm… Axlanian, any thoughts about augmenting that trooper line too? How about a sly allusion to the ‘77 mono mix with,”It’s secure, move onto the next one.” Or “It’s secure, next residence.”
I wouldn’t consider a romhack to be a legitimate shiny, if it modified how it works.
1/8192; it’s super rare and that’s what makes it cool IMHO.
I recently had the idea to set up an automaton on my phone to randomly draw a number from 1 to 8192 every day at 2AM. If it’s one, it sets me a reminder at 6AM to let me know today is a shiny day.
Doesn’t mean anything, and it’d statistically likely be 11 years before it happens, but what a fun thing it’ll be whenever it happens.
The people know their symbol, from TLJ, yes.
Wasn’t there some graffiti described in the duel of the fates draft?
Portuguese:
Quem é você?
Parece que sou um espião experto da Resistência
E para que você está… O que?In (Brazilian) Portuguese would be like that:
“Quem é você?”
“Parece que eu sou um espião altamente treinado da Resistência”
“Então por que você está… O que?”
Which of these renderings would be most appropriate to be added to the existing Portuguese subtitles? I’ll paste a spattering from them below to give an idea. Pardon my ignorance, but would this be similar to an American reading subtitles in British English? That is, comprehensible although maybe a little funny here and there?
Example clip from existing subs:
Finn, estamos prestes
a ser cozidos!
Não aguento mais os gritos.
Economizei o suficiente para sair.
Temos amigos por aí.
Eles vão vir se souberem que há esperança.
PM sent. Make sure you have the latest versions; Fanedit.info seems to be rarely updated and I have no idea what version they have at this point.
lol
Maybe add an inner monologue (and occasionally dialogue) for Palpatine throughout TROS.
In that moment, “Oh, no, not TWO lightsabers!”
I don’t even think this is a bad idea, but add pop-up video style infographics giving in-universe trivia about various characters and events seen onscreen.
Hmm, that’d be an awkward two lines to clip, too. But you’re right.
At this point I’d say it’s less likely to go through than not.
I think the real question is why Krennic parked so close.
Yeah, I had the chance to sit down and implement a couple things. Sounds great to me.
Gracias.
I can always use Google Translate, but can anyone translate the following into French, Spanish, Portugues, Spanish, Italian, and/or Dutch?
“Who are you?”
“I am a highly trained Resistance spy.”
“Then why are you… What?”
I’ve only encountered one legitimate shiny in the games, and I remember it still. Was probably like 10, catching a shiny Machop in Gold.
I believe it was shortly before my game stopped being able to maintain a save file. lol
Maybe they felt people at Didneyworl would find “help us fight the First Order” more intuitive than Final Order. It’s more on-brand for the vibe of the park in general I guess.
Wouldn’t they be fighting the Final Order though? Like, the only First Order present on Exegol are on the Steadfast.
You’re taking my comment awfully seriously. Ha!
“Hey guys we need your help to fight the FO. Meet in 1 hour in the mall parking lot behind JC Penney. Peace.”
“omg LANDO YOU DID IIIIIIT”
Lil’ PP
Anakin has no ghost at all in ROTJ.
I could say the same about the source material, too, though. Just evaluating it as a thing, not even as a fan edit.
Add an orange force field beneath Luke’s landspeeder whenever it’s running.
