I wouldn’t consider a romhack to be a legitimate shiny, if it modified how it works.

1/8192; it’s super rare and that’s what makes it cool IMHO.

I recently had the idea to set up an automaton on my phone to randomly draw a number from 1 to 8192 every day at 2AM. If it’s one, it sets me a reminder at 6AM to let me know today is a shiny day.

Doesn’t mean anything, and it’d statistically likely be 11 years before it happens, but what a fun thing it’ll be whenever it happens.

Which of these renderings would be most appropriate to be added to the existing Portuguese subtitles? I’ll paste a spattering from them below to give an idea. Pardon my ignorance, but would this be similar to an American reading subtitles in British English? That is, comprehensible although maybe a little funny here and there?

I don’t even think this is a bad idea, but add pop-up video style infographics giving in-universe trivia about various characters and events seen onscreen.

I’ve only encountered one legitimate shiny in the games, and I remember it still. Was probably like 10, catching a shiny Machop in Gold.

I believe it was shortly before my game stopped being able to maintain a save file. lol

Maybe they felt people at Didneyworl would find “help us fight the First Order” more intuitive than Final Order. It’s more on-brand for the vibe of the park in general I guess.

Anakin has no ghost at all in ROTJ.

I could say the same about the source material, too, though. Just evaluating it as a thing, not even as a fan edit.

Add an orange force field beneath Luke’s landspeeder whenever it’s running.

I think overall they are very fast paced, which I know cannot be helped. I appreciate getting through a given story in one episode.
I think me not having a lot to say is probably a good sign.

Just sent the auralnauts a cordial message asking if they’d be at all interested.

It seems like if we did redub 3PO, it would open the question of how Kylo knew to go to Endor. Although, honestly… it’s hard to care too much about it anyway. The film doesn’t answer this other than allowing one to guess Kylo also had it translated. It does, however, establish then and there that Kylo “know[s] where she’s going” at least. That would be missing from this cut. It seems like the cost for reinstating it here would be to also reinstate the premature reveal that Chewie is alive.

Another issue is that 3PO translating the inscription doesn’t give the characters any solid information. In the theatrical, it provided important information and the heroes had to have both that knowledge and the blade itself. In this proposed plot revision, they would essentially only learn that they… need to get the blade back. All they’d learn is that Rey needs to tap into darkness somehow. Feels a little muddy.
