Yeah, I've heard something like that too. I think it will be a few days before all the facts are distilled from the rumours. I've heard the death toll has gone up too.

I heard that they found two undetonated bombs in other trains and that was where they came up with the timer idea because timers were attached to those two.

YIYF and HotRod... glad you two are okay. Same goes for anybody else from GB on these boards.

Parts of Birmingham City Centre - England's 2nd city - have been evacuated tonight (Saturday).

Police, acting on intelligence received, have evacuated near on 30,000 people from Birmingham - especially the Broad Street area (bars, clubs & hotels) and carried out 4 controlled explosions so far.

Was up there earlier, the police are not treating this as anything other than a very serious threat.

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

yeah i heard about that, the 3 bombs that went off in london, all went off within 50 secs of eachother, not the 30 mins they thought before. also they are saying that the bombs contained actual explosives like TNT rather then a home made chemical bomb.

So, yesterday there were a bunch of raids at homes in Northern England and they reckon they have identified the bombers:

And the rest are dead, died in the blasts. One was a school teacher and one was an 18 year old. Absolutely fucking crazy, pardon my french, but it is just mad.

I tell you what though, one thing that is really bugging me about this whole thing. Everyday the newspapers are going on about it and using headlines like 'we will get through this', 'stand tall' blah blah blah. The thing is, although we haven't forgotten (and of course won't) people in London have already picked themselves up and gone back to normal. In fact, most of us were cool by the next day, or even that afternoon. There was never any doubt that I would get back on the train and go to work the next day, unless the police wouldn't let me, but they did. They said it was safe, I said OK, and so did millions of others. We are not living in fear. The newspapers are actually making it worse and giving the terrorists a small victory by painting us as victims who are having a hard time coping, and basically prolonging the whole thing. Honestly, if it wasn't for the newspapers and TV shoving it in your face, you could come to London today and never know what happened here less than a week ago. People died, it is sad, and we renember them in our hearts and we will catch the guys who done it. Enough already.

I'm not sure if I'm really making sense here, but hopefully you know what I mean.

War does not make one great.

NEWS FLASH

It's 2 weeks since the terror attacks and we are getting breaking news of more explosions on the underground and a bus. Certain lines have been evacuated and suspended and it looks like I'm stranded in central London for the time being.

Batman and Robin have been notified and are on their way.

I made that last bit up (Wishful thinking I guess) but the rest is true. I work in the heart of London and Police sirens are going crazy outside as the emergency services put the emergency plan into action.

Yeah, I heard a news flash on the radio this morning on the way to work and, supposedly, there have been explosions in three more tube stations and on one more bus.

Hold strong, Londoners!
