I too am glad to see so many dedicated OT fans working hard to make sure these films are preserved in the best way that they can. I recently received my 4-disc TR47 set, and I can't stop watching it. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've been watching only the widescreen '97SE versions of the films for the past 7 years, since all I have besides that is the P&S '95 versions. (So if I have to choose, I'll take widescreen over P&S any day, even with all the crappy changes!) Anyway, it was great to see these films in their original forms, and I was struck by how unnecessary the SE changes are. I expected the films to look somewhat dated, since all I'd seen was the SE for many years, but the films still looked completely amazing! (The space battle in "Jedi" still blows me away.) I'm looking forward to the versions currently being produced by MeBeJedi, Laserman & Zion. Although I generally don't condone bootlegging (I work in the film/TV industry), I feel that Mr. Lucas has left me with no other choice. Hopefully he will come to his senses one of these days.
Anyway, keep up the good work, guys!
