LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars - a general discussion thread

Anybody watching this on Disney XD? It’s a fun little show! I like the idea of side stories taking place during the events of the movies we know. None are set during the prequels or the OT though. It doesn’t seem to be getting the attention Resistance or other SW projects have received, as it’s new to me. For a thinly veiled Lego commercial, it’s well done.

Whoever is voicing Leia sounds a lot like Carrie.

The only nit I can pick with it is that Dana Snyder as the recurring Hutt baddie sounds too much like his Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

The animation is also a tad blocky. 😛
 

They certainly seem to be working hard on introducing Star Wars to a new generation of younger fans (and us oldies who are still young at heart 😉)

Will give this a go - the Lego features usually have a nod and a wink for us older fans in amongst the content too, which is a nice touch - plus can be quite funny at times as well…

Yeah, I liked that one off special with Luke and company that aired on Cartoon Network a while back. The gag involving armies of squealing fangirls chasing Vader around, because they were shown a real photo of Hayden Christensen, was hilarious. I suspect the same writers are at work here.
