^ I’ve never heard of the series either, but the intro is well done. You really get the vibe of classic Film Noir. Also, he has an awesome name. It reminds me of Homer, and his alter ego: Max Power!

Fuck…I want this to be a hoax.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

A real shame, to lose such a talented musician. I’m really glad I was able to see Soundgarden in concert.
Soundgarden was never a band I got deeply invested in, but I always appreciated the songs I’d hear on the radio, and I always considered Cornell to be one of the finest vocalists of all time. I guess now that I can’t see them, it’s time to become invested in the music. Same thing happened with Pantera. I always appreciated hearing their music, but took them for granted, until Dime died.

Sadly, I never had a chance to see Pantera live. However, I was able to see ex Pantera members in their own bands, throughout the years.
RIP Roger Moore, you shall be missed.
RIP Roger Moore.

Oh damn.
He always seemed like a great guy, with no movie star ego.
Where were you in '77?
One of my favorite James Bonds 😦
Sad, the first Bond movie I saw was The Spy Who Loved Me.
Nobody could wear a safari suit with the same degree of casuality, as Sir Roger. So many good times and smiles watching him on screen. He never got Bond wrong.
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.
I feel dead inside. At a complete loss still and evermore.
As Michael Caine put it the world will never be the same.
Roger was truly the knight errant both onscreen and off.

Another 60s icon is gone. The world is a whole lot less funny now. His Batman series was unavailable on home video for so long that he predicted he would no longer be around to see its release, so he recorded his own commentary tracks on some episodes in case he died before an official release. At least he was able to see that happen, and how much he was loved for it.
That’s awfully sad. The guy was a legend.

Damn. This one hurts. There have been many caped crusaders, but he was my Batman. I was thrilled when he voiced the Gray Ghost on the 90’s animated Batman. I saw the Return Of The Caped Crusaders movie on the big screen last year, and for two hours I was a little kid again.
Warners supposedly had a sequel on the fast track, so I hope they already had finished recording dialog with him.

R.I.P., Mr. (1960’s)Wayne/(1960’s)Batman 😦
If you need me, I’ll be watching Batman all day.
.
There was a time when it wasn’t exactly cool to admit liking the 60’s show, (especially around the time of the 1989 film) so it was gratifying to see people acknowledge it’s place in Batman history, and Adam West embark on a whole second career after too many years of being typecast.
Family Guy was never my cup of tea, but I always thought West’s mayor character was hilarious.

I might just spin up the 60’s movie and Return To The Batcave this weekend.
