I can’t imagine that one rumored title “leak” to be true that IX would be called Will of the Force. That would just make the memesters’ day because then it would be called Star Wars: WTF? from there on out. Personally, I hope it’s something new and unique without “of the” preposition.

^ It’s going to be difficult to do that mate - the Episode IX title (and also the poster for IX) isn’t really a spoiler.
The name of it will be all over the mainstream news, tv, radio, internet - as of whenever it’s announced during the Celebration Panel for Episode IX (today at 11am CDT?).
Tomorrow there’ll be posters for it in public places and on adverting hoardings etc - there’ll likely be no escape from it - The Spark Of Hope.

Good luck don’t know if possible, but going in as clean as possible is the best way to enjoy the movie for what it is.

Queue up incessant theories about Rey Skywalker. My prediction is that she will take up the name herself, though not a biological descendant. I like that idea; after all, don’t we all do that to some degree?

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Basically they copied the Dark Knight trilogy.
Batman Begins - The Force Awakens
The Dark Knight - The Last Jedi
The Dark Knight Rises - The Rise of Skywalker
SW has gone Hollywood.

I suppose it remains to be seen if it’s the rise of Luke as a power or if Rey Random isn’t random after all.
For me, I’m hoping she stays random and it refers to Luke. Either way, fingers crossed that JJ can right the ship.
I believe that the title is referring to the Skywalker family lineage. I am someone who believes that Rey and Ben will end up together by the end of the trilogy. Even if the two have kids far in the future, they’ll be carrying the name Solo, but they are still carrying on the family line.

Doesn’t have to be about Luke. I think it’s Skywalker as an ideal and a legacy (and possibly a title).

I think the word “rise” is overused in modern movie titles.
It’s a very bad title. Doesn’t sound good at all. Pretty sure it will make sense with the context of the story, but it won’t sound better. IMHO the worst SW title so far (not counting Rogue One and Solo).

Attack of the Clones dude, it’s not even a contest.
I think it is a cool title. Not what we were expecting. I especially like how it chose “Skywalker” instead of the plural. Suggests Ben- or maybe even Anakin- will have a large impact over the story.
Just my interpretation but this has a feeling of course correction from TLJ, for better or worse.

For once I agree with Mala. Attack of the Clones is pulpy and fun. The Rise of Skywalker sounds like it was generated by an algorithm.
