I just purchased an SSE boxset... it also includes Ep 1 and 2 and 3 bonus discs. The best part is, since it's a chinese copy, Lucas doesn't see a dime.

Were they good quality TR47?

Any good accompanying covers etc?

Yes, it's the same as the R1 version except I forgot to mention there is also a soundtrack for each film on the DVDs-pressing up on the remote at the main menu screen goes to the soundtrack menu. I took some quick shots of it in case you wanted to check it out:

I like the inlay art from AOTC - from the pics it looks a quality set.

on a tangent - I wonder what sort of art will feature on the coming Prequel Trilogy boxset - IMHO it'd be difficult to equal the Vader cover from the OT boxset...

I caved the 1st week it came out, but I've also bought/downloaded the 97 SE DVD set and various versions of the OOT and as well have the VHS sets of the OT and 97SE. Call me a Lucass whore.

TR47, is that a Region 0 set? How much did you pay for it? Where'd you get it (if you don't mind me asking)? Now I wish I would have waited for that chinese set as that looks pretty cool, but I supposse that's what we might be seeing next year along with Ep III when he releases the 6 movie set. Only good thing is you didn't fork any $ over to Lucass like I did.

I like many people here feel the OOT should be released to be preserved (ah lah the quote on the homepage). I'm real glad I found this site though (so I won't have to buy anymore on ebay) and can't wait for projects like the X0 to be released.
