What is the best batman retro game?
One thing for sure, don’t look at Batman Forever on the SNES. The controls are crap.

Finally tried Star Fox Zero for the Wii U. God was I disappointed. Only because of the controls. Had they just allowed the player to use the pro controller and play it like a typical starfox game I would have enjoyed it. It was pretty fun at first, but all the shoehorned in gamepad elements killed it for me. They could have kept that and allowed use of the pro controller with a scheme set up similar to Assault for the gamecube and I would have been on board. I may try it again at some point.

Maybe Starfox could’ve had the WiiU gamepad used for secondary functions. Use the gamepad’s screen for a 2nd player, like a co-pilot. Then everyone can be like Chewie. Sort of like how New Super Mario Bros Wii U uses the gamepad for creating boxes & killing enemies on the screen.

Yes, which is sort of a reverse of what they did. I don’t even mind the fact that the gamepad mode exists, I just wish there was the option to play it the old fashioned way.
I love StarFox Assault for the Gamecube. This new game with that control scheme (and with the same cast of voice actors too…) would have been fantastic.
Maybe Nintendo will get it right on The Switch! 😃
It’s not specifically a console thing though because I love playing with the pro controller this game just dOesn’t give you that option.

It’s appearing as under $20 for me, for every Star Wars game on Steam.
I’ve watched Proton Jon’s Let’s Play of Superman 64. Funny how he still hasn’t finished it.
Late to the party here, but wanted to +1 this. Proton Jon somehow manages to make going through that tedium fun, and adds a few details that make it more than the average letsplay (history of game development, character profiles, etc.)
I bought the game awhile back, and while I don’t regret it, it’s still not even that fun as a morbid curiosity.

Yes, he does make the Let’s Play Superman 64 informative while flying through rings. Heck, he even overlays quick let’s plays during those segments for extra bonus content.

Ahh, the good ol’ days, back when Arcades were king.

Nope, I play GoH.
…are there really only two of us?
The twilight princess hd release for wiiu is beautiful. It’s really gonna seem like a step down (on my big screen) when I move on to skyward sword which won’t be in HD. I will never understand why the wiiu won’t just render the wii games in HD. If Nintendo 64 emulators can do it (oot and mm look beautiful with the right texture pack, the limited polygons being the only things that look dated when you use hi res texture packs, but it can easily me interpreted as just having an anime look) and dolphin for pc can do it, I don’t see why official Nintendo hardware won’t do it. The original wiis graphics we’re really quite good most of the time, simply rendering it at a higher resolution would be enough for me, I wouldn’t need any further enhancements. But instead I have to deal with jaggies, pixelated backgrounds, and blocky models. All of which would be solved by simply rendering it at a higher resolution. Hell even super Nintendo emulators can do it now. Super Nintendo games look great rendered in hi res. Obviously not very fancy or graphically impressive, but they look crystal clear and not pixelated or blocky… Almost like a modern game that’s trying to look “retro”.
The Alan Wake franchise is 90% off on Steam until the 15th.

I finally got my hands on a PS4. I haven’t owned a PlayStation since the PS2. So I have a lot of catching up to do. To start off I figured I’d go with a well respected exclusive franchise.
Always heard good things about this series. It lived up to its reputation well. Controls felt a little clunky but I’m sure that’s something that improves with each entry.
The story was pretty generic but the characters were enjoyable as were their performances. The graphics were nice.
I’m not a fan of remastered editions of games. Usually they’ll completely reimagine a game’s art style and overwrite what the original designers intended. This was a very nice exception to the rule. Looking at comparisons to the original, they managed to masterfully maintain the original’s art and lighting.
I look forward to continuing Nathan’s story.

Pretty sure they can only display one color.

Yes of course.
As long as you don’t plan on inserting them back into the game. =P
Maybe you can use different Highlighter colours on the screen. It’ll give it a different look.
Why did rocksteady not use the models that were shown in the teaser. The Joker looked a lot better in the teaser

I’ve been playing a heap of Fallout 3 recently. I know it gets a lot of hate, but if this is the worst Fallout game, I can’t wait to play the best.
