"The Graphite Collection" - DVD Covers

Looking great. Am I to imagine that all six films kind of continue in the covers in a vertical line?

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

WOW! that's fantastic. Much much better than the "Journal of the Whills" IMHO.
I mean, SW covers should have the exact amount of futuristic approach you have in this collection...
And now, for your feature presentation:
The Classic Re-re-re-release of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back.
In this version the word "WOOKIE" has been changed to "HAIR CHALLENGED ANIMAL" and the entire cast has been digitally replaced by Ewoks.

Really impressive covers.

For those of us with more than one version of SW on dvd I think they compliment your Journey Of The Whills covers very well too.

The Holiday Special cover is probably the best one I've seen for a long, long time...

Do you have any plans to do a white based / inksaver set for the future?

Actually, I've sort of been thinking about doing a set based around McQuarrie's concept art. I sort of wanted to model it around the covers for the current paperback series of Frank Herber's DUNE novels, i.e. just a small piece of artwork surrounded by lines and rectangles.

You can't see it in these images, but each of these (excepting CLONE WARS) has a small window on the back with a piece of McQuarrie art on it that relates to each film.

Speaking of which, anybody have a large scan of that classic poster concept? The one with the concept vader looming over the heroes? It's the one that appears on the official DVD Special Features disc.

Also, still needing a textless E-III poster...

Nice one, have you seen Spidernap's cool MagnoliaFan covers? (can be found in at 'misc', then 'fanedits' section at http://home.pages.at/grisan/ ). Very simple, almost minimalist yet very eyecatching covers (for me anyway, lol)

Rikter also did some great work on 4-disc boxset covers - inspired by the Japanese laserdisc release covers.

Tis the problem with most sci-fi covers - they eat up the black ink on the printer

Seriously, these covers and your 'Journal of the Whills' series make me want to get other rips of the OT that I don't think I need, just so I can use these covers with them. Awesome!

Thanks everyone for your generous words.

I still have 3 more covers to make, for the DROIDS and EWOKS cartoons and for the EWOKS tv movies. I want to put together a COMPLETE set for every Star Wars disc someone might be spinning.

I'm also planning to make the SPECIAL FEATURES case available in additional sizes beyond the single/double you see here.

However, I could use some help in putting together a list of various prevalent feature discs that are currently available. There is of course the official features disc that was made available with the box set. There are also several different versions of the DEFINITIVE EDITION disc as well. What other unique bonus discs are available?

If you need materials for the Ewoks cartoons, try looking around Google image search for some decent-res covers from the comic series. That's what I did for my two covers (which I uploaded to grisan's site, they might still be in the upload section).

I've seen the 'When Star Wars Ruled the World' special dvd, the 'Forgotten Scenes' collection dvd, and... hmmm.... that's the only other ones I can think of right off the bat.
