Kyle Katarn saga, Knights of the Old Republic, The Force Unleashed… hopefully I can add this one on the list as well. The Second Sister Inquisitor + Purge trooper designs looked cool, always nice to see new versions. Upgradeable lightsaber and buddy droid, awesome! I guess now it’s time to cross my fingers and hope for minimal EA interference on rest of the development.

A shame there was no game-play in the trailer - though my curiosity is peaked just viewing that. Very much looking forward to learning more about this game.

Looks awesome. Will definitely be getting this!
Fingers crossed. I wish there had been gameplay but we really need a decent SW game these days. EA should be ready to make up for the fallout over BF2 so we shall see. I get some Last of the Jedi vibes because of the story setup and sort of a bit of Force Unleashed since your character is apparently a lone wolf.
I will say this is a better trailer than the Ep9 one.

I watched the panel but I can’t say it got me that excited. Nothing in the trailer really gave me anything I couldn’t have imagined immediately upon hearing the game’s premise. Would have preferred to see some gameplay. Hopefully it’s good, because I’m definitely a little hungry for SW video game content.
This game seems like something that would be right up my ally. Even though EA showed off a story trailer, and not a gameplay trailer, I’m still going to wait for the reviews to come out and see what everyone thinks first before I make the decision to pick it up. I still can’t trust EA after how dirty they treated fans and gamers with the first two installments of the Battlefront reboots, despite that Fallen Order is a single-player game with no micro-transactions. Hopefully the gameplay is great, whereas I tried out their first Battlefront for about an hour, and I later got bored. I also hope the story is great, as it seems from the trailer. I watched the cutscene movie on YouTube for Battlefront II and thought it was quite poor and honestly, I waste of time.

True, but I when I said “fans”, I meant Star Wars fans.

My advice to anyone with an EA game: do not buy until the reviews come out and the inevitable controversy leaks.
They always make the game seem perfect, then comes launch. I didn’t buy Battlefront 2 until after they confirmed a change in micro transactions. I bought it not feeling ripped off.
Likewise I chose to skip on BFV following their controversy.

Well, that can be said about new EA games. Old games that EA doesn’t really put out anymore I would say are safe to buy.

I don’t know about you, but I always wait for the reviews to come in before I buy an old game.

I agree, I do the same before I buy any game, old or new.

I’d explain the joke in my initial reply, but that would ruin it when it wasn’t that great of one to begin with.
Hopefully we’ll see more of this - including gameplay footage - at E3 in June (or hopefully sooner…)

From what I saw of the trailer I think it’s a mock buster of TFU.
If this game has any sort of DLC, I’ll rent it before a full release. If interested, I’ll purchase it when it’s dirt cheap or on sale.
Thankfully there’ll be be no DLC, season passes, or microtransactions, for Jedi Fallen Order:-

For an older ‘gamer’ (a bad one at that) who doesn’t play many new titles… I’m quite looking forward to this release 😃

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Official Gameplay Demo
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — Official Gameplay Reveal Live Stream
November is gonna be pretty busy with this and The Mandalorian.
It looks a bit clunky but I’ll be playing for sure. I’m STARVED for new Star Wars single player stories.
It’s great that they got Ben Burtt to come in and do the new droid sound effects.
I hope the game has an open world- they keep dodging the question and it would be a make or break for me. I enjoyed the Force Unleashed, but became bored after playing through the story first because they was little left to do. The demo looks very linear, which I’m not sure is my play style.
RDR2 is a great example of a game that pairs an epic linear story with an open world that I keep playing long after I’ve completed the story.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but wow that gameplay reveal was bad. I really don’t like what I’m seeing here. There is zero chance that this is open world.
This looks like a boring version of force unleashed with less creativity. The story might be interesting but I don’t think the gameplay looks exciting at all I’m really sorry.
Just wow, EA is such trash. After cancelling that open world game headed by Amy Henning shows just how much EA has mishandled the franchise.
I’m usually not one to trash everything new especially with Star Wars but the LucasArts videogames used to be incredible. Each was so unique and expanded so much of Star Wars. There was such a push for ingenuity back then. Look back at KOTOR, Republic Commando, Jedi Outcast, Rogue Squadron, Galaxies, I mean the list goes on. People who have played these games know that I’m not putting on rose tinted glasses here.
This looks like the most generic Star Wars game I’ve ever seen, but I’m still giving it a chance.
