I’m glad they are ending on their own terms, instead of meandering on and declining in quality (Big Bang, Doctor Who under Moffat, etc) just to make more episodes. Hopefully we can have a quality season with no filler.

Disappointing Season 4 for REBELS will be its last. Can’t Filoni just have the crew do other shit in different regions of the galaxy while events in the OG OT are habbening?

I could see some of the characters of Rebels being part of the new show they are planning. He carried over his favorites from Clone Wars.

I honestly forgot what happened to that Sergio Leone styled bounty hunter from The Clone Wars series. Strange since I watched it all, chronological order.
I don’t think they ever tied up his story, he just sort of went off at the end of the last story arc he was in and he never came back before the show ended. I remember (obviously quashed) rumors that he would turn up in Rogue One. I’d like to see him show up in a live-action film at some point, and the Han Solo movie seems like much less of a long shot.

I believe Filoni is ambiguous with the fates of his favorites (Ahsoka, Cade, Rex,etc) so he can keep their stories alive.
I agree with you on some spilling over into live action. I’ve got a funny feeling about Ezra and VIII
I hope it’s not gonna happen. Ezra is the least interesting main character of both tvseries.

Firefly is jealous of the Spaghetti Westerns Sergio Leone made. Cause as I mentioned, character might be more on Lee Van Cleef in a multitude of those.

Me too! By the way, I believe Kanan’s fate is already written, but I want to see him going away in an epic way, like in an epic duel with Vader, or diying inspiring the people of Lothal to rebel against the empire.

I was disappointed by season 3 (which is IMO quite flat and unfinished) but I still have hopes for a season 4 up to standard of season 1 and some parts of season 2. Like TCW, a “complete series digest” is pretty awesome.

I actually successfully guessed the title of the show, but I was more concerned with the idea of a show set between ANH and TESB starring the OT characters. It’s a shame that’s not what we got. Marvel tackled that subject instead. If you’re gonna give us new characters, though, at least make them interesting. Ezra is generic AF, Sabine didn’t get proper development until season 3, and Zeb just feels unnecessary (although I guess it’s worth noting I find him slightly more endearing than most characters of his archetype), and instead, we coulda had Rex from the start. It’s kinda weird they didn’t make Ahsoka part of the main cast, as she could have easily filled Kanan’s place as the young Jedi’s master. That said, Kanan and Hera are pretty good characters.
