“The Last Jedi”
That’s a good guess!
I thought so 😉
“The Last Knight” I think is interesting. Seems to obviously refer to Luke, but what about Rey? Hinting at a possible Luke death. Or one of the Knights of Ren, or some other new character.
“The Last Knight” was a really close guess. I would have liked that better, and it would have set the ST up to be the “morning trilogy.” Haha
Well, it’ll be the third film with “The” as the first word. It’s another three word title, breaking any hope of there being a pattern in the naming conventions going forward, ala ‘The First Order Strikes Back.’ I’m 100% okay with this, given the path I took in naming my prequel fan edits.
It will also be the first time that a film’s title is featured inside another (or any) film’s crawl. TFA’s crawl contained the phrase “the last Jedi.”
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Looks and sounds good.
I like the use of the red…
Bring on December 😃

To fit with the Star Wars naming scheme, I think they should have gone with “The Last OF THE Jedi”.
Beyond that, I’m meh.
Preferred Saga:
1,2: Numeraljoker extended
3: L8wrtr
4,6-9: Hal9000
5: Adywan
The Force fell asleep?
It was dormant.
The Force Awakened in a girl left on a desert planet.
They’re 0-2 on these titles, for me.

Starformers: The Last Jedi Knight
(Surely a fan edit will surface in 2018) 😛
Terrible.
Repetitive.
Plus boring.
Seriously, even the names are getting recycled now?
Episode IX: Revenge of the Phantom Clone Empire…AWAEKENZ!

I think I’d like that more, they could even drop the first ‘the’
“Last of the Jedi”
But I suppose that’s too similar to “Return of the Jedi.”
I do dig the red logo, though.

Or “The Force Hits Snooze” probably adds more continuity.
Eh I was close enough

I’m liking the Red Logo as well.
I think the placement of “the” is what’s bugging me
The - Last - Jedi is most similar to The - Phantom - Menace
Last - of - the - Jedi would be too similar to RotJ, and recalls Attack of the Clones.
Neither of these should be the films most brought to mind when reading the new title.
However, with the exception of Episode One, (and ANH, which doesn’t contain “the”), the titles tend to refer to topics without descriptors, ie:
Attack of THE CLONES
Revenge of THE SITH
THE EMPIRE Strikes Back
Return of THE JEDI
THE FORCE Awakens
I felt something similar with the crawl in The Force Awakens.
Every other crawl was very formal, giving the impression of galactic importance and typically referring to characters by their whole names. TFA broke with that, referring personally to “Luke” and “Leia” repeatedly. This gave the story more of a shared family memory feel, as opposed to an important chapter in a history book.
… Hopefully that makes sense.

I like it. It’s growing on me, the same way “The Force Awakens” did after a while. I like the red, but I’m not really a fan of the new logos that emphasize STAR WARS instead of the title. I made this idea for a logo real quick:
“Always in motion is the future” 🌌

Damn, so that’s the official title? Hmmm, seems to imply a big change is coming to disrupt the flow of the Force.
Well, i know it’s too late, but another funny title I thought up, Star Wars: Masters of the Force.
Maybe there aren’t going to be any new Jedi or Sith, with the force being balance through discarding both sides of the old coin.
Probably not, but anything’s possible at this point.
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Too true, anything’s possible. Let’s just hope the story & characters are well written and fleshed out.
Daisy Ridley did day that she didn’t think Rey was a Jedi…Perhaps Luke trains her to become something different and she eventually starts a new Order of Force Wielders. That would be pretty ballsy imo
Second attempt:
“Always in motion is the future” 🌌
^ Like it I do, hmmm. I like it whether it’s NEAR or FAR!
