Thanks Jason. Quite a nice set. I still have mine and no way to play PAL tapes. So preservations are a must.

The Workflow: ‘If I remember correctly, the workflow was Panasonic FS 200 to Digital using a Hauppauge ImpactVCB-e, video captured over S-Video, and audio via line-in using integrated audio hardware, all captured losslessly using AmaRecTV v3.10, and then transcoded to 576i, using Handbrake.’
Format: 720x576i (for those of us old enough to remember 576i was once considered to be HD standard!)
^ this preservation project is from a Box Set with sealed tapes - so all credit & kudos to Mass5160 for undertaking this project.
One of the trailers for the ISD Executor set (Star Wars; 3 minute video): www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fAY4HraX1E (back when they were allowed to claim that the film you are buying won 7 Oscars; can’t say that since the 1997 Special Editions - and onwards…)
For anyone wanting to know more about the ‘1995 Executor VHS Box Set’ itself - an 8 minute JJ Model Making youtube video.
