yeah, but that's just how the internet works. There's not enough room for middle ground between all the donkey porn and star wars stuff

And as critical as I've been, I dont' think I ever said it was evil incarnate...

True... though your stance seems to have softened a bit as of late.
I mean, hell, this makes two, maybe even three civilized interactions between us?
Wonders never cease...

That above statement does paint a frightening mental picture, though...

Magfan, so did you turn up at the ranch and say 'Yo, I'm Magnoliafan, here's my invitation'? or was your true identity ultimately revealed to your host?

No offense, but I don't see a wide spectrum here. These things go quite well together.

Animal husbandry during a Saga marathon really helps me get my Chi back.

I know who Silent Bob is. My next question was going to be 'Hey, Magfan - You're Kevin Smith aren't you?'

What does Kevin Smith have to do with Silent Bob?

Not sure if that was sarcasm but just in case it wasn't...
Kevin Smith created and is Silent Bob.

I was going to ask if Magfan was Kevin Smith but before I could he dropped the tantilising clue about dressing up as Silent Bob, almost as if he was answering my question in a cryptic sort of way before I even asked it. With me?

MBJ, there have been rumors floating around for a few years, at least, that Kevin Smith is the real person behind the Phantom Editor/MagnoliaFan. It's been disputed, but not convincingly. You'll even find a reference to the name MagnoliaFan in KS's film, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, at the end of the film.
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia'."

MagnoliaFan = Andy Kaufman.
or...
MagnoliaFan = Jimmy Hoffa.

Whoever he is, I think it's better not to know. If he reveals himself as Kevin Smith he won't be able to proper post anywhere without having people ask him about his movies and such, if he's not anyone famous, some will be disapointed. So it's better not to know.

“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

LOL...it was. I'm always joking with MF about that.

Maybe you and he share a bond, or connection?
