Help: looking for... KK650's Semi-Specialized Editions?

I just found out about them. They sound great, at least for the interim as Ady finishes the OT. The problem is that tehparadox is dead now. Does anyone know where I can find them now, ideally uncompressed? Thanks.

They were posted on newsgroups about 138 days ago, you can use binsearch to find them (search for “Semi Specialized”)

I know this makes me sound like a total idiot (which is how I feel) but after enjoying the Despecialized versions but longing for a midway point I’ve found this post with you guys searching for the Semi’s too but I’m such a total duh brain that I can’t seem to make sense of the last comment - what is/where can I find newsgroups? Google was not my friend in this instance, for a scifi fan I’m pretty damn hideous at computers and the internet and would just desperately love to lay mitts on the RotJ of my childhood, would anyone mind explaining how to find it in super dumbed-down terms? 😕
