I'm always a fan of the inksaver stuff - and the more the better (am not a fan of buying black ink cartridges all the time )

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

wow, that is awesome, awesome work gundrosen! Great job. Have you thought about doing covers for the clone wars Vol. 1 (and 2 is due out in Oct./nov.) animated series. Some consider it Ep. 2.5...I'd love to have covers to complete this set. If I was to make one change for your phantom menace covers, I would leave Jar-Jar off the pictures. The official DVD (interestingly) has No Jar-Jar on front, on back, in the insert or the 2 disc arts. Smart. Now if only he could be deleted off the actual movie too. But again, phenomenal work. Truly exciting to have a unifying set. No we'd just need to get that guy who does the tins to do do a box set for this. That would be awesome.

There is a clone wars cover, but it is meant to be for both seasons, so you cna either just put it on a double disc cover, or download all 25 episodes on a single disc(like I have)

While I'm still working on Volume One, I whipped up a cover for Clone Wars Vol 2 that was obviously inspired by yours.

When I finish Vol I, the spines of the two DVDs will line up to show Grievous.

I think it looks nice, dont really like the idea og the sides of the covers making an image, I like to keap it clean

I know this is really nitpicking, but on the back cover of ANH it says "Luke Skywalker stays with his foster aunt and uncle." Just so you know, Owen and Beru are Luke's step aunt and uncle.

Other than that these covers are really nice. Way better than those awful covers that were on the official DVD's. Great job.

Sorry, just noticed a few errors in a couple of covers. Do you think they could be corrected?

Lord Darth Vader - Surely you don't need the two titles for Vader seeing as they mean the same thing anyway?

...to prepare for to complete his battle.... - That doesn't make sense.

Deleted Magic

Dark lighter - That's one word.

"Lost Cut's" - The apostrophe isn't needed and I don't think the final 's' is either.

Awesome job on the clone wars cover too Knolly. Thanks, I missed it I guess Gundrosen, I'd definitely do the the 2 volumes on one disc too. I am just waiting to get the quality of the official release. Seriously, everything creatively always need some refinement, but overall Gundrosen you have done some phenomenal work. This is the kind of stuff that makes this board special.

@ Knolly: Very nice job man, I like them a lot. A couple suggestions though. What about adding a small Star Wars logo on the top or bottom an addition to the Clone Wars title? Also what about adding in small print the word "Volume" above the I & II on the sides of the covers? With those 2 additions I'd think it'd add a bit more clarification of what the cases were. Very nice job though, I'd like to see OOT, SSE, and PT covers also in that format.

Thanks yanksno1, I was looking for input before I "released", so to speak, the printable covers. The idea of the volume I like, but as for the Star Wars logo, were you thinking of having it on the front cover or the spine? I'm thinking having it above the logo on the front cover would do it, but to me it would probably make the spine seem too "busy".

Sorry for the late feedback, been a few days since I visited this thread. Glad you like the Volume idea. I was thinking ofthe Star Wars logo on the front also, but maybe small logo below the pics on the front cover where the white space is. Maybe in light grey to make it not stand out, but so you can see it there.

Here they are with the SW Logo. I tried and tried, and could not, for the life of me, create something that said Volume or Vol on the spine and have it look good. I also had trouble due to the big black fold in Grievous's cape... Sorry. Hope these look nice though.

Volume II looks well balanced, but Volume 1 bugs me with all that white space in the top-left corner. Perhapse a different poster for that one would square things off a bit.

@ Knolly: It was really that hard to do the Volume on the spine? I think if you made it in small font (& maybe a greyish color) right above the I & II it would look good. If you can show me an example, that would help from my side on if it looks bad or not.

I agree with that statement. Volume II looks good, but I does bug me a bit. I think if you kept the Clone Wars logo like you had it before and moved the Star Wars logo to the bottom and maybe a tad smaller it wouldn't look so busy. Nice work though, I like how it's coming along.

I agree too... That space bugged the heck out of me...
I can't really find an alternate poster though, so maybe I'll make the background extend upwards more or something.
I tried the Clone Wars logo on top with the SW logo on the bottom, but it just didn't look right, so I put SW on top.
I'll try to put together an example of the spine in a bit.

Thanks for the feedback (I'll release them when they're "finalized" sybeman, thanks for the compliments though!).

I see what you mean about more material. I have that poster myself and I think all you have to do is use to clone tool to remove the Clone Wars logo from the poster and you have a working rectangular image. I like what you've done with Yoda and the sabers, it's just that crop takes the balance away from the second one.
