I need to raise $575 to get this baby scanned ASAP because the print was just sold and will need to be shipped out soon.

As of this morning, this project is now fully funded, and not a moment too soon - scanning was completed last night and the print is supposed to be shipped off to its new owner later today.

Wow! This print is just as beautiful as the “Dr. No”, “GoldenEye” and “The Living Daylights” prints! This is definitely promising.

Damn. Looks good otherwise. Colors seem intact, picture looks clear.

Is filling the splices with the bluray master a realistic option or would it be too obvious (aspect ratio, quality difference, too many edits needed…)?

I did fill the gaps using the Bluray, but there were so many that I didn’t try to color match them, or “Dehance” them to make them blend more seamlessly. Hoping to one day use a scan of a second print to better fill the gaps.

Looks beautiful…sad i missed this but great to see the lovely original IB print colours, interesting reference for any offical 4k UHD release if and when it happens.
