It was the episode where they find Pegasus. Jesus that was a 'make you feel like shit' kind of episode. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was the nuts, I love BSG - best thing on tv for a mile man, but was that an emotional ride of emotions or what? It was just out of the blue like!

Bollox till next week for part 2, I think I'll just d/l the next few tonight. Was hoping the complete season 2 box set was out by now but it looks like it'll be released in april some time and I can't be arsed to wait that long.

No doubt! THis past weekend was just episode 9 of Season 2 in Canada. I've been trying so hard to be patient and avoid downloading, but I caved and d/led Pegasus today and watched it. I can't stand waiting a whole week for the episodes anymore when they're already out there. At least I'll get my DVD fix in April

I really like what I've seen of this show. I don't get sci-fi anymore, but I saw the first season dvds. Since there's Brits and "the rest of us" on here, which version is better? The UK's, or the US version? I was lucky enough to see the UK edition of season 1, but is there much of a difference?

Should be no difference, with the exception of the opening credits music/montage in Season 1. Otherwise there are, as far as I know, no different cuts, editing, etc. Now with Season 2 even the credits are in sync.

^ I THINK there were some very minor cuts on a couple of sex & battle scenes on the UK Sky One version - but only a second or to here and there - nothing major.

The 1st series here in the UK aired at 8pm - 1 hour before the UK tv 'watershed' - and so a couple of scenes/frames MAY have been omitted.

The 2nd series has aired at 9pm - so unlikely there'd be any cuts or edits.

Anything for the cause!

Speaking of causes, if 'Firefly' fans are called Browncoats, what are BSG fans called? Colonials? Ragtag Fleeters?

Am I the only one who thinks Starbuck looks totally HOT with the long hair? Definitely a vast improvement.

Nope- not the only one. I was like...damn- she's a chick! (not that I didn't like her like she was but it was interesting to see a softer edge)

The end few minutes of LDYB Pt2 has been seemingly recut - the musical score has been omitted and the CGI Cylons look a lot clearer and more menacing now...

Can be found here:-

They'd better not frak with season three in Canada the way they did with season two.

Of course, I couldn't stand the wait and downloaded rips of the second half of the season, but I don't want to have to do that in the future.

yeah i really dont want to do that either, i would rather jsut watch them on TV, but i gotta keep up to date.
