cause the colonel is an idiot and couldnt handle his own ship as we saw when adama was out of commission. plus the pegasus crew know him better since he was stationed there a bunch.

THE ACTOR WHO PORTRAYS HIM HAS BEEN GETTING A LOT OF ROLES SENT HIS WAY. THE PRODUCERS OF BSG DON'T WANT TO HOLD HIM BACK, BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE HE IS A TALENTED ACTOR THAT DESERVES TO BE ABLE TO PURSUE OTHER THINGS. THEY REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO LET HIM GO, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THEY DIDN'T WANT TO BE SELFISH AND NOT LET HIM GO.

I'm beginning to think it's not so much "seeing" each other, but having such a strong emotional bond that they've somehow become "imprinted" upon each other. Six in this episode has much different feelings as the one Gaius sees, so they can't be the same person/aura/spirit/whatever. Likewise the Gaius that Six sees. Each has created a persona of the other that they knew up to the last time they saw each other.

Either way, I'm extremely impressed with how this is all going.

Finally got a chance to watch this last ep and I have to agree that it was a great episode. If I had any gripes they would be...

1) The resurrection 'chamber'. I was expecting to see banks and banks of bio pods (ala The Matrix) but *one* bathtub? Do they *only* come back to life one at a time? Yes I realize that they were on Caprica and it was probably a portable unit or something set up quickly and it wasn't exactly like the Cylon homeworld and/or the ship that we saw. Also why have the folks stand around when they're being reborn? Do they *know* beforehand who will be reborn and where? Inquiring minds want to know!

2) Almost *too* much good stuff going on! What I mean is that I would have liked to have had more of this episode and focus on these events than the events of the past couple filler episodes. This one set the stage for some stuff to come. And I don't know about Sharon but I smell a major meltdown coming when Helo eventually finds out about the kid!

Speaking of the kid I predict that as she grows she'll be taken aboard a basestar by Diana and eventually end up merging her mind with the ship and saving the day! Oh wait- wrong series!

What did we hear...there are 9 humanoid models? Well, perhaps they have one for each model and machine-like efficency is what makes them look alike.

Why do they stand around? My guess would be to help the next whoever get acclamated. It looked like a lot of things still need to be processed after being 'reborn'.

As for how they know, the memories that get transferred have to be processed somehow. Death can be a very sudden thing and a big burst of data (needed to transmit very quickly) would need to be reduced into manageable chunks for the new cylon body. Anyways, there must be some kind of computer system they can monitor.

ROTFLMAO! I loved that series, but the blond hybrid-girl from Poltergeist at the end kinda blew it for me.

In the upcoming eps Starbuck is looking as stunning as ever...


Intriguing stuff on Moore's podcast (and blog) - several things he admits to not being up to scratch and was disappointed with (and himself).

Downloaded, for me was a quality epside which got me thinking and caring about what was going on and what was going to happen - something which has perhaps been missing from the last few eps.

Perhaps they find an habitable planet and face the choice of carrying on searching for Earth, or settling down and colonizing this one. Of course, I'm sure it won't be as plain sailing as that...
