Does anyone have this video file? Is it good quality (the one availible on Hyperspace)? I'm not paying $40 to sign up for this, so I can see this video and have it be not DVD quality. I know that it is only a work print cut of the scene, without finished effects, but other than that, could it be put in the film?

Thanks Sessler! That's as confusing as hell to watch. However, if the quality was slightly better, all of the Ki Mundi scenes could be reinserted with finished effects by some fans if they wanted. Good stuff!

Anywho, has anyone ever tried working on this footage? Putting the effects in somewhat? There is a considerable amount of blue screen going on here, using backdrops that we already have.

Obi Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu standing back to back, as Obi Wan tells Mace they need someone to shut down the droids, while Mace tells him someone else is already on it. Ki Mundi and alittle band of Jedi making their way up the ramp of a droid control ship. Cuts back to the action and there is a couple more swings Mace takes at Jango before removing his head. Mundi and the other Jedi make their way down a hallway, fighting droids. Then there is a scene of them on the bridge, shutting down the droids. Only to moments later have them power back up and Mundi to announce that they are no longer controlled by the ship.

There is actually alot more, but I cut out alot of the extrenious Jedi fighting in the arena stuff, because we don't need more of that. The added lines, Jango Fett and Mundi stuff would help break up the long arena scene.

It would be interesting if this footage found it's way to the likes of MagnoliaFan, ADigitalMan or anyone else who may be tinkering with the PT

Actually, I've seen tons of Hyperspace material that's been posted on various message boards. I have yet to see any legal action inacted to have them be taken down. Though, I don't know this message board's policy on posting Hyperspace material. So, I haven't directly linked Hyperspace material. Although, I have heard of this footage never seen it though, would like to see it.

TheSessler is the best. I'm glad I brought this up, so alot of people that may not have been exposed to it have been.

Now whenever I watch that Arena scene, the 'cuts' are too obvious.

no kidding. to me, the most obvious moment where something is missing is when obi-wan and mace are standing back to back in the arena and say absolutely nothing to each other. i used to think it was just a missed opportunity for dialogue or a witty obi-wan one-liner by lucas, but now I see it's a leftover from this larger cut sequence. annoying either way.
