Not sure if any of you in America will know who this guy is, but he's pretty famous here and I for one am glad the wanker finally got what was coming. Let this be a lesson to the rest of them.

Abu Hamza Jailed

This tosser stands in the street, in MY city, preaching about why me and my countrymen deserve to die. And then he claims freedom of speech and religious persecution. And they wonder why Islam gets a bad rap.

P.S. Yeah, he is one hell of a dodgy looking bloke. He lost his hand building a bomb.

War does not make one great.

I have read about him and I think the courts came to a good if not difficult decision.

Plus, I think he posts at the OT.Com under the name 'DarkFox' ( to those who've read those posts)

Wow. That's crazy. You know, it really is sad that Islam gets such a bad rap because of a few fundamentalist extremists. I mean, a couple of my coworkers are Muslim, and they are very polite, well-rounded people. Then again, this whole cartoon situation in Denmark (well, around the world now) is just insane, and I understand the pain.

Im very glad he has finally being punished for his hateful rants against the United Kingdom and non Muslims, and this should send a message to the radical element here in the UK that this wont be tolerated by the authories anymore, just as i am sure it isnt tolerated in the United States and other countries.

I find it so sad that wacky extremists in EVER political party, religion, industry, online forum etc are the ones whom everyone remembers.

There's always a couple bad apples in a bunch. Unfortunately, they're the ones you smell first.

Now if they would just arrest all those idiots in Denmark who are rioting and burning stuff over some friggin' cartoons.

It was his right hand, I noticed. Serves him right.

They're gonna replace that hook with a dildo when they throw him in prison.

I hope he is deported after he serves a full seven years.

Nice.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Yeah, I think he should see out his sentence in England (btw, Belmarsh prison is famous for being a horrible, horrible place) and then get extradited the day before his release and let the Americans have their way with him too.

I done a google search to try and find some more info about the tria, etc, and I stumbled across this, which irritated me no end:

Annoying

Part of me is glad I live in a civilised country that protects people's rights, even those, shall we say 'questionable' members of society, but part of me wants to scream. I'm sure that as a lawyer Gundark can understand the conflicted feelings.

War does not make one great.

You would think. But I'm not so sure. Today's newspapers were all about how Hamza's family will be receiving tons of benefits while he's inside.

No its true, these Muslim clerics and people like Abu Hamza get lots of benefits of our goverment, there was another "famous" case here in the papers of Sheik Omar Bakri who preached anti-western hatred and praised suicide attacks he had a top model range rover and all these benefits to live like a king in London while claiming he was unfit to work, while he was preaching here.

The site you've found Yoda Is Your Father is somewhat anti-Muslim if you have a look at: http://www.faithfreedom.org/challenge.htm

What always puzzles me, and has done ever since 7th July (I'm a Londoner too YIYF) - is that the British born Muslims who perpetrated the attacks on that day and every other hate-mongerer who wishes to harm and kill innocent people - LIVE (and presumably work) in the UK and obviously revel in its freedom and diversity. Yet at the same time want to do everything they can to disrupt the society that offers them so much. I'm hardly going to say "Leave if you don't like it" but it seems a strange form of hypocrisy that keeps those that want to preach hate clinging on to system that so many are obviously exploiting.
