Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

From a person who has obviously NOTHING better to do.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Wow. I'm not sure If I should be impressed by his skill or lament the sad state he must be in if he had enough time and nothing better to do than this.

I don't know if it would be easier or harder doing it on a Travel version. Probably easier.

I think he's one of the sad star wars fans...

Somebody should tell him to complete the ESB & ROTJ posters on a normal size etch--sketch as opposed to a mini one.

If it's the work of this artist he's neither sad nor bored, and laughing all the way to the bank!

I'd hate to be the guy that accidently bumped into him. ^_^

Made for IE Forum's Episode III theme month - May 2005.

I bet it was painful when he had to shaken off that drawing. I mean, he eventually had to, unless he bought that etch-a-sketch just for that.

I think it's well worth the $ to keep something like that. Of course, keeping it intact over a long period of time is a real, well, you know.

My understanding is the Etch a Sketches are carefully opened up when the pictures are completed and the interior panel sprayed with glue to prevent "shake and erase".

Would have been tough to do that art.

Couldn't one cheat by opening the etch-a-sketch and drawing it by hand?

Potentially, but I would think it would be relatively easy to tell the difference as Etch a Sketches have that herky jerky motion to the lines. Plus EaS's have a pretty solid line depth consistency that I don't think could be duplicated even by the steadiest of hands.

You could draw it on paper, print it onto cellophane and then use it as a guide for your etch-a-sketch twiddling.

War does not make one great.

But you would still not have the unnatural motion of the knob-controlled pens and line consistency still remains an issue.

Does anyone have the 1993 anamorphic widescreen version of the Etch-A-Sketch?

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…
