The War of the Stars Part II - The Future in Motion (Released) — Page 5

I don't know if seeing this flagged up again in the forums subconsciously prompted it or not but I saw this again today.

It really is amazing how different a film (from films) you managed to make this.

I was thinking both parts could be edited into a television mini-series cut (Salem's Lot, Winds of War etc) of maybe four episodes.

It might make it easier to digest all the fun to be had in both edits and allow for some fun designing television style titles and figuring out where the ad break act stops would go.

It says some thing when even after seeing it a couple of times Yoda landing still made me ALOL.

Thanks again for making this happen.

Thanks, guys.

Videos are sadly down now. Took a bit more than 48 hours... it was a test and now I know the answer.... Those fanedits are still available at fanedit.info though.

This edit is now streaming at vimeo as a single video with better quality.

Just saw this edit on YouTube, and it’s probably the best Star Wars edit I’ve ever seen. I wanted to download the DVD file at Fanedit.info but it’s not listed. Does anyone know where I could find it?

Since The Future in Motion’s release, there has been plenty of new Star Wars films released.

I wonder… could there ever be a part III, considering we did sort of get left with a cliffhanger?? ;-D

Hi Mabsedol, two posts above yours in here may be a good place to start mate - and if you haven’t already done so… it may be worth sending a PM to TMBTM to ask how you can acquire his Edit. Good luck with it.

The Welcome to the OT.com; Introduce yourself in here - a good place to make your first post may also be of some interest - and hopefully of some assistance too.

Gotta say that this might be one of my favorite edits ever. I love the general goofiness of Vader, with the red glowing eyes and replaced dialogue. The bit where he explodes someone’s head and then says “Ah, I love the army” was really really funny in particular.

SPOILERS

I was also loving the rearranged scenes involving Luke worrying about Han and Leia and then finding out she’s his sister. I was laughing my ass off at Luke’s reaction to finding out Leia was his sister. And I love the redone ending sequence with the Emperor’s Sith Ghost and Luke’s red lightsaber.

All in all, just a really fun and creative edit that was a joy to watch all the way through.
