The Binks Brooklyn accent reminds me of Lucas saying he originally wanted 3PO to speak with a used car salesman Brooklyn-native accent.
Magnoliafan made some great edits and laid the groundwork for future edits.

It's been a couple of years since I've watched any of the Prequels - though I saw Balance Of The Force up on youtube yesterday - loved the new subtitle track - thought it gave a more menacing threat from the Nemoidians, Battle Droids and made JarJar a lot more tolerable.
Looking forward to your Episode III Edit (and your final Ep II Edit too :))

FYI I'll be putting this on Demonoid as x264 encodes within a couple of days. They're encoded and ready to go, I just need to correct the subtitles for Ep II. Approx size is 4.5GB.

Yeah I don't know, he might have done them but they never got circulated or something? Who knows, they're pretty well done fan-edits though - creative use of material etc.

So I grabbed the cuts you uploaded to spleen. Are there subs on this? I turned on subs with VLC but nothing comes up.

Maybe you need to install VobSub? They display fine in my VLC.

Yeah I spoke too soon they work fine I just never use VLC for anything beyond video clips so it wasn't set up. Burned them to discs and they play fine.

I have now put these on demonoid (x264). Size is 3.94 GB (I re-encoded everything again after my last post), includes subtitles in .ass and .srt format. I have styled them after the OT subtitles as I'm not sure how the PT subs are meant to look, but I think it's pretty similar:

Why don't you know how the PT subs are supposed to look? Just load up your DVD or Blu.

I mean the theatrical PT subs, of course I can load the DVD. I believe the font used in every SW film is Franklin Gothic Cond, which looked a little different (in the OT) before it was digitised. If there's a 35mm film cell scan of the subs I'd like to see it.

I will be re-uploading the original DVD’s again to Zippyshare as there has been some interest in these edits again. I realized I don’t have any NFO’s for these so I’m going to have to create new ones before I upload them and I’ll take all of the covers posted in this thread and add them to the DVD-Rom.
