Dude I wasn't pissed at you...You noted where the other work came from. Other people haven't been so kind. What was really frustrating was someone not reading your disclaimer and attributing the work to you. Oh well.

STAR WARS: Symphony for a Saga

It is a bummer, I agree. I just posted the link because I liked the general layout of the covers in that auction and thought they would be a nice addition to an already large collection of stuff. The "prillaman" site carried quite a few before having to cut out a bunch on account of bandwidth useage. I did an extensive search to find some of the things in my folder before getting Rikters torrent. I didn't actually realise stuff like this existed til recently when I purchased my first OT set on eBay. That is when the fun began. When I get the link up you can let me know if you see anything that is yours so it can be proplerly credited. Right now they are all tagged as I have found them.

I'm still setting up my sytem for editing, but i'm making different covers for my edits, this is a prototype ROTJ DVD cover with no color layering on the fonts...I'm also trying to work on a traditional logo style for each movie...where they might go I'm not sure yet.

Sometime last week on this website I saw Magnoliafan covers that featured line drawing cover art, like pencil sketch style. I didn't save them then. Now I can't find them.

Has anyone else seen them? Did they disappear, or are they just buried somewhere. I've run out of ideas to track them down.

Thanks to the two of you below! I PMed him.

^ I think you mean the covers by Spidernap - they were very cool, I hope he does some more in the same style.

Trying sending him a PM - maybe he can repost them or arrange something.

They are indeed Spidernap's. I saved them, if he can't get them for you, PM me your e-mail. Hopefully, he'll do OT covers.

Made for IE Forum's Episode III theme month - May 2005.

I also have them email me at rikter_blaksvn@yahoo.com and I will mail them to you - They are actually modded versions of covers I made - Spidernaps are a bit different but they are AWESOME!

Mackey,

You didn't step on my toes as I didn't make any covers nor did I ever stake claim to any. The eBay one I thought had real potential in the "cover art" department, hence, my reason for posting it. Heck, I'm not even sure how to start actually trying to develop my own art for covers. There are so many out there with yours, Rikters, Dr. Gonzo's, Spider's and numerous others that I couldn't begin to fathom ever wanting something else as there just ain't that many versions of the OT to match......hahahaha

My main idea was to have a place to post them so all we had to do in here is post a link for people to go and see them. Everyone's rights and contributions being respected in the process. That is what it is all about anyways, a community working together with a common goal. The OT baby!!!! BTW, thanks for the nod of respect, it is appreciated.

wow nice labels and inserts for the holiday special would be nice too...

i got the zahn/thrawn series audio book cassettes, im working on transfering them to disc now and im working on cover backs too. the audio books are 9 hours long total so theyre a lot to absorb but i like them. lucas may discredit them but since hes doing that with the OT already i dont feel phased.

I love the Clone Wars cover. It is very cool. LFL could take a lesson or two from you, spidernap.

Just a few changes you may want to make to the back cover.

1. Double space between first and second paragraph like it is between second and third paragraphs.

2. Lose the additional "e" in Dexter's Lab.

3. It's Padme, not Padem, in the final paragraph.

4. I would put a comma between "Continue" and "the Clone Wars do" at the top.

5. Was it really 2.35:1? I thought it was 1.85:1. Maybe I'm mistaken.

6. I would suggest breaking up the paragraphs as such... #1 stays the same, #2 starts as is and ends with the first sentence from the final paragraph (ends in "led by the Jedi."), #3 would be the rest. Where you have it starting "It is a war fought..." is an entirely different thought that should be separated from the sentence before it. Whereas the two sentences describing each army are so similar in nature that they should be grouped together. Heck, those two sentences could constitute their own paragraph.

Yes, I am a proofreader by trade. Sorry. I'm really bad like that. I even proofread a wedding program while sitting at the wedding. My wife just rolls her eyes.

Hey bud -

JUST A suggestion here..........

You should make one cover for each season.

This would really be a bit cooler that way as their is still a 3rd season coming in March

Hi Spidernap - have you thought about doing a box set cover, one for the Prequel Trilogy and one for Original Trilogy? (when time permits of course)

what I have right now are designs of:
Pre Trilogy: gold text on black background with the art of Drew S. (not the retail cover)
MagnoliaFan: gold text on white background
Original trilogy : gold text on black background with the art of Drew S.

Coming soon:
Extras(clone wars, holidayspecial, suplemental material) silver text on white background
SE trilogy: silver text on black background.

Ill post some images soon so you can see.

My inital idea was a single cover for a slim double case for the 3 seasons, since season 1 and 2 are in 1 dvd and hopefully season 3 will be put in 1 dvd. But if I have some more time to spare I'll try to make you some nice covers RiK

Tim, I'm interested, where can we/where did you download this font (hopefully for free!) for the Episode VI "Return of the Jedi" image? Its the font they used on the official movie posters for Ep 1 and Ep2.

I'm going to rip the DVDs of all three seasons and edit them together as a single two-hour movie. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work; but if it does, I'll put a torrent up (if I can ever figure out how to make a damn torrent that is).

Here is the full sized Star Wars cover. I'm working on the others so don't be alarmed if the other links don't work yet. It took six hours to upload that one picture. I'm going to hold off on the VHS cover scans for now. I'll get it just not yet.

As of now the full set of TR47 Faces covers are up Here. Just follow the links to the other two covers.

Thanks again to Blaksvn and tlbauerle for the original work on the covers. I just pasted the two together. I'll get the other set of covers up as soon as I can. I wouldn't hold your breath through.

Enjoy
