I loved this site! Where is it? I heard someone saying it was going down, but thought they meant for a couple of days. I hadn't checked in a while, but does anyone know? This was one of best resources on NON-GL fanboy, star wars info, leaking stuff before everyone else (maybe where they got in trouble).

It's been down for a few days now. This often happens when they are forced to change servers. I wonder if they went a bit to far by telling people how and where to download illegal pirate versions of the new DVDs. Home Theatre Forum (HTF) has also lost it's pages with video postings and screengrabs of the new DVDs.

I guess we will have to wait and see.

UPDATE: I found this on another forum:

"Mf.com should be back up either tonight or tomorrow. the new ISP they signed up with is upgrading servers. Nothing out of the ordinary." - Posted today.

This url isn't the right url is it? Pretty much any "starwars word.com" takes you to the official site. Do they spell the url differently or something?

Lucasfilm actually registered the wrong spelling of Millennium for their domain name. Their's only has one "N." So these guys got the real thing.

Man that's funny! How f***ed up is that? Lucasfilm can't even spell their own product correctly? As if they hadn't already lost a lot of their credibility over the PT and the re-releases, now this! LMAO

Yep. And they are one of the best spoiler sites out there. They've had screen caps of the new DVD releases for the last month, and accurate spy reports of what was going to be changed much longer than that. They've posted menu rips of the new DVDs, rips of changed scenes, and rips of both ESB and ROTJ via torrents. Lucasfilm must hate them so much.

Maybe, maybe not. You would think if Lucasfilm didn't want all that piracy going on they would have shut them down, permantly, but strangely they have done nothing. I also agree as well, MF.com has been right consistantly with pics and instructions for all to use. At least the internet SW community will fully understand what SW Trilogy they are buying.

Well, they've never hosted anything on their site besides screencaps, and those can't really be called piracy. Especially since Lucas keeps trying to say these are the original films. By their word, we've all seen this stuff since '77.

Wait a minute. Now don't get me wrong, I think GL should release the OT, but since when has the trilogy been marketed as the "original Star Wars Trilogy." I have not seen it and until I do, I think it would be fair to point out that they are saying this is the Star Wars Trilogy, but they didn't say original. In fact, one of the first press releases said that Lucasfilm had worked hard to make the DVD's like "watching the films again for the first time." New scenes and stuff being added to the mix helps ensure that, since some of it will be the first time we have seen it.

^ I think there may be some links to 'original Star Wars Trilogy' adverts in the lawsuit thread

Well, I think the problem with that as has been said before, is the number of hits ratio to already existing server issues or server changing.

The site is also filled to the brim with abrasive childish fanbois (a la AICN), not sure why you all think it's so great?

It took me weeks to try and convince this idiot that Han's vest had been digitally altered for the new SE's.
