Very nice work indeed, Scara. They look awesome. Any possibility for a different image on the back of ANH (minor nitpicking)? Keep up the good work and welcome to the boards.

I wish I had more hi-res art, here's a mock up of what I could do (the back is just cerbero's, I'd make a new one), but I don't really have enough high-res art.

I too would love to contribute my take on Star Wars cover art, but I lack the focus and skills. I don't even know how big the art needs to be.

If I had one at high resolution I'd definately use it ... but that's exactly what the problem is: I don't have any (others) for ANH. This one wasn't my first choice either ... but well untill something better comes along this'll have to do, same goes for ESB ... although that one is good quality.

Would you believe over a dozain people have checked that synopsis for errors and none of them spotted those ?

Well actually there's quite a bit of it out there already. Non-Star Wars related though ... don't see much use in making x-different sets ... as if it ain't hard enough for people to decide which ones to use as it is. There are however about 20 or so covers pending in this series ...

Good to know you agree on the back image. Sometimes one has to take what they can get, I suppose. Fortunately, it doesn't look too hard to replace if a replacement can be found. Correct me if I'm wrong. ^_^

As for grammerical errors, after reading that post I checked the synopsis my self. Here's what I found outside of what was reported.

ANH

It should be "possession" not "possesion"

Star Destroyer should be capitalized.

I've also been told to never start a sentence with "but" nor "and", but that's debatable.

ESB

Empire's pretty solid, all I found were some nitpicks.

"The rebels' only hope is to hold off the Imperial troops long enough, so the Allience transport ships can find their way to safety through the Imperial blockade."

That sentence, while grammerically correct, is much more ungainly then need be. Might I suggest the following.

"The rebels' only hope is to hold off the Imperial troops long enough to allow the Allience transport ships to find their way safely past the Imperial blockade."

or

"The rebels' only hope is to hold off the Imperial troops long enough while the Alliance transport ships find their way safely pass the Imperial blockade."

In any case it's a mouthful

"finds out that his friends"

works either way.

RotJ

The first paragraph is indeed a run-on sentence. One I have no clue as to fixing at the moment.

Spell out "second"

"Before the Rebel fleet can attack the station, a small group of soldiers, led by General Solo, will have to take out the station's shield generator, located on the forest moon."

I'm a bit unsure on this. It's possible the commas before and after "led by General Solo" and right before "located" aren't necessary.

"and Vader's master" instead of "and his master".

These are all suggestions on an otherwise great piece of work.

You're absolutely right ... if and when I find a replacment it taes about 2 minutes to actually replace the picture

No problem. You might want to proof read the Episode I and II covers while you're at it. You never know. What kind of pic are you seaching for, maybe we can keep an eye out?

Had to take the covers down till next month ... over 5GB of bandwith in 1 day ... I can't afford that kind of heavy load to the server, sorry.

That's pretty cool looking DanielB. Though I'm not too thrilled by the comic art(however cool it may be). Definately worth tinkering with.

I wish I had it at higher resolution, it's only 576 x 694 - 135kb, but I it still fits the criterion look since criteron sometimes has the cover at much lower resolution then anything else. I'm going to try and go with the look for all the movies, find drawn-art of a defining moment in the movie. I with the film roll I don't have to worry about the screenshots since they're so small.

I'd suggest some changes to the film roll. Maybe a little less Hoth in favor of some character shots. All you really need is the AT-AT shot. The bottom four are great.

Those are utterly amazing!!

You and Riktar have both made some great covers for these edits. If only I could get a DVDR of them. I know my sister will be pleased(she's forcing me to use inksaver covers since it's her printer).

How can I get ahold of the MagnoliaFan Edits DVD-R? I´ve tried several times to mail MagnoliaFan but does not reply to any of my mails.

Does anybody know how to get a similar effect to Soulflare or ShuMai's covers?
AKA how do I manipulate the color of the posters like that? I was hoping to do something similar for the prequels. (front cover, anyway)
