But I would like to know if there are any chapter paper art (I don't know what to call it) for inside the dvd box matching the 'original trilogy anamorphic ld rip' -version. There are numerous pics of all kind of things in this thread but most of them doesn't work any more and it's _very_ confusing...

BTW, if you think it wouldn't be too risky legally to host best ones of these pictures permanently on a page I would have 50MB of useless page on a pretty good server in Finland. Is it too risky?

As for inserts, I have started work on some, but the job has stalled due to frustration. I'm sure I'll get the motivation to do them soon, I hope.

Just one question, on the PRE-ANH cover, isn't that X-Wing shot a Special Edition shot? Sorry...

If you have at least names for those 79, 73 and 72 chapters (BTW why on earth so many) in anamorphic version I could maybe try to do some chapter inserts. I'm not so big Star Wars -fan myself that I could come up with good chapter names... But I Think I could manage the graphical work though.

NOPE it is not..............

Look closer at it - the SE X-wings are at a different angle and the X-wing behind the lead one is hidden by it - The SE version the Xwing is NOT hidden behind the lead X-wing + The SE the backgound as more visable stars.

RiK,

Sorry to put a downer on things, because as you know I think you do awesome work, but I am afraid that is a SE shot.

Take a look at the screen grab I just made from my SE avi. It's the same shot (give or take a frame). Just to clarify, the stars aren't visible in my avi of the SE as it's a pretty crappy copy, but I assure you, this grab is taken from the SE.

Yeah, the original shot is quite different. Below is a pic of what it looked like back in 77, I prefer it!

^ Man, that's some quick work.

Rik - if you ever apply for a job for Lucas we'll all give you a glowing reference (and while you're there get GL to sort his stall out).

Does anyone know where I could get the "Widescreen Collector's Edition - Star Wars Trilogy - The Definitive Collection" -logo in Black and white (Background white and text black) and the font used in "Star Wars(tm)"?

Here's a picture to show what I mean:

Hey Liteoni,

Where'd you find that cover that has been specifically designed for the anamorphic set?

Could you upload it, and the other covers for ESB, ROTJ, and Supplemental Materials.

Cheers

Well, you could go and try to explore that address where the sample picture is... Who knows, maybe you could find two different sets specifically for the anamorphic set. Not my work though.

I didn't bother doing that originally, as I assumed you had uploaded the pic.

I can send you the logo I used for that very cover as an Adobe Illustrator document if you like. Send me an e-mail at cerbero@exstyle.nu and I'll send it back to ya.

That preANH SW cover is looking damn fine today - or was until the printer started to run out of ink a third of the way!

Does anyone know who the actress is on the front of the cover? (It doen't look like Carrie Fisher, and I'm not sure sure if it's artwork of no-one in particular...)

Hi guys, here's a modified version of cerbero's set with the posters on the covers, I've replaced the back of each cover with another poster, the original logo and fixed all the symbols as to make it correct and generic (for instance the supplemental disc is 1.33:1, and it is not Prologic II). It should be noted that I did not recompress the spine or front cover. Here are the example changes:

Enjoy sw_set.zip

I'll post back later with chapter inserts for TR47's set.

Damn fine set m8.

Always like that ESB pic - prob my fave from the film's various posters

Just d'loaded you swset

A bit biting of the PHX logo and blurb, though!

Most impressive... a great set. Nice idea of putting a large pic on the back too - makes it stand out more. And fine choices for the pics you made too.

A suggestion / idea - would you consider changing the colour of the blue writing to white (or vice versa) for a future alternate version?
