alrighty then, those of you in the know.......


Have any of you hyperspace subscribers watched this yet?

Is it basically a trailer of scenes from the trilogy we've seen before or is there actually hints of these rumoured new scenes?

If anyone is in the know or would even be so kind as to allow me to view the trailer then I would love them forever & ever & ever....

I was going to ask the same. I doubt there's anything polemic or different about it, we would know about it by now.

Bossk said in another thread that they didn't show any new footage, but that they did announce that it was the first time the trilogy would be released in Dolby 5.1 EX Surround (I'm not surprised at that, though). There was apparently not much, at least from the way I read it. They should allow non-Hyperspace people to view it in a week or two, hopefully...

The DVD trailer is basically the SE trailer they released in the cinema back in 97.
It's a little longer, and with all the DVD extras mentioned too.
It's ok, but no new footage.

actually i dont know if anyone noticed or not but there was one scene in the trailer which showed some of the updated lightsabers...
if u watch it again toward the end... around 3:35 you can see they have touched up Obi Wan's blade....
compare it to the originals and you'll see what im talking about....

Hmnn... Oh well, for some reason, I still belive they haven't changed anything from the 1997 SE.

I thought it was a decent trailer myself as well. It's supposed to get people to buy, buy, buy (like all advertising), and it pulled at my nostalgic heartstrings as I watched it. But...I resisted. I stand beside you both, Hal and Bossk, and anyone else not planning on buying it. I've got Rikter's anamorphic set, and that'll more than suffice for now.

I've got digitalfreaknyc's set and it's nice. And it definitely makes not buying the set a much easier decision to stick with.

I still use the Laserdiscs themselves.

I hope to soon buy a bootleg set from Rikter, if my dad will change his mind about bootlegging.

But I'm downloading the torrents for use on the computer.

It's pretty dang close to owning the DVDs anyway. Good enough for me.

(BTW, Could more people PLEASE seed the ANH torrent file??)

lol hey hal i'll let you in on a small secret...
don't download them from torrentbox... they come down wayyyyyyyy to slow...
ive been saying for a while now that www.suprnova.org has all the torrents plus the bonus disc.... i got mine in like a week...
but for some reason no one on here has done so...
believe me... check them out if ya want!
