I'm trying not to jump to conclusions this early. That episode alone raised far too many questions to get my head around.
Great episode, and a nice bait and switch. They made it seem like one character was obviously a Cylon, and then knocked the audience on their ass with something completely unexpected--and full of wonderful irony. And now we're left wondering just what the deal is with the first character because that mystery remains intact.
The suicide was also a shocker. Didn't see that one coming at all.
Looking forward to the rest of the season now. Just wish they'd get these out on Blu-ray already.
MTFBWY…A
Loved that Leoben basically crapped himself when he found out what (has) happened to Starbuck...
Loved Adama's "Sit down, Cylon!" line - some great acting from everyone yet Adama and Tigh really excelled.
Some serous questions need answering...
how did the Final 5 regenerate? reach Earth, get together, who built the skinjobs, why/how do the mechanicals know not engage the 5 in battle, who is Starbuck,
what is everyone going to do now?
where is Cavill and the other cylons?
so many, many more...
some explaining on the timeline of events would be great - espeically with regards to the 13th tribe leaving the colonies to find Earth (I thought clyons were only around for about 60 years - hence the 1st cylon war 50 years ago)...
my mind is too frakked up with so many questions, thoughts and ideas - that was a damn fine piece of tv!

Well....That was one happy show!!

So, I assume then that the "Face of the Enemy" webisodes actually take place after "Sometimes a Great Notion," rather than simply between Season "4.0" and Season "4.5," right? Because in release order it doesn't really make much sense.
It did say 9 days after finding Earth, at the beginning the webisodes.
Well that last episode was a little...dull!!
YOU SAID IT, HOTROD. THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT CAME OUT OF THAT EPISODE WAS THE SET UP FOR THE NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE. AFTER THIS WEEK THERE WILL ONLY BE SEVEN EPISODES LEFT. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ALL OF YOU, BUT IT CERTAINLY DOES SEEM LIKE THEY NEED TO PICK UP THE PACE QUITE A BIT.

I thought the pace of 403-412 was way too frantic to the point where it sacrificed characterization for plot. I'm very glad that 413-422 seems to be going at a much more deliberate pace. I've always liked the "character" episodes more than the "plot" episodes anyway.
TRUE, BUT WE'VE HIT A POINT WHERE THEY HAVE TO WRAP EVERYTHING UP.

Or leave gapping wide wholes to be explained in future made for TV BSG movies or the Caprica show.

From what I've heard, everything will be wrapped up (if not 100% neatly), and nothing will be left to be explained on the "Caprica" show. They're intended to be completely self-contained, separate shows, where you won't need to see the other to enjoy either one. Or so RDM says. We'll see how it goes.
Otherwise, I'm anxiously awaiting tonight's episode. Only 7 to go after this ...
I really want to see more about Earth and the final five, everything else is secondary. Although it seems that stuff will take a back seat to the Geata / Zarack plotline...
I guess we'll wait and see.
YOU JUST KNOW THAT BOTH GAETA AND ZARACK ARE GOING TO BE KILLED OFF.

Looks like Adama is sick and not got to much longer. Oh, and I think HE is the dying leader who will lead them to their salvation, and will be dead by the last episode.

TALK ABOUT RAMPING UP THE ACTION. THAT EPISODE DEFINITELY MADE UP FOR LAST WEEK'S.

That was a real good one for sure.
Bet I know what Gaeta whispered to Baltar just before he stabbed Baltar with the pen.
"I loved you Gaius!"
So, Is that the big secret?
“First feel fear, then get angry. Then go with your life into the fight.” - Bill Mollison
No, the "Face of the Enemy" webisodes revealed that Baltar told Gaeta "I know what your Eight did."
To explain, in the webisodes, it's also revealed that Gaeta was sleeping with an Eight on New Caprica, and had been giving her lists of people to get out of Cylon prisons. In reality, she was killing most of them, which Gaeta subconsciously repressed, though he kind-of knew it.
But yeah, that was a good episode, certainly - though if the teaser for Friday is right and Adama and Tigh are killed I'll be quite upset.
I try to have faith but i'm worried they'll do something like that, thinking that they don't need to plan ahead for coming seasons.
Damn, I just got done watching this episode. If I'd known it ended on such a cliff hanger, I would have held off a few more days for the second part and watched them back to back.
I kind of lost interest and faith in this show last season, I was getting sick of hearing about the final five constantly and while I don't mind the politics, it was getting to be a bit much in my opinion. I have been enjoying season four a lot though.

WHO WANTS TO BET THE TIGH'S "DEAD WIFE" IS AMONG THE OTHER CYLONS?

"Other" Cylons? We know she's the final Cylon already - I don't really get what you mean.
I think he means with the "evil Cylons" (as in not the rebellious Cylons who are trying to alliance with the humans), and I bet he is right. She is going to have to show up before the end of the show, I'd think. It would make sense that when Tigh killed her, her consciousness would have been transferred to the resurrection ship. After all, she is the only one of the final five who have died during the course of the series.

Gotcha. Yeah, you're probably right.
