I've hated this weekend, for the most part. Let's list a few hates. I hate the fact that the card key given to me to open my apartment door (why we can't just have real keys instead of going the hotel route is beyond me) didn't work, and I had to stand outside trying that damned thing for about 15 minutes, wondering if I'd misremembered the apartment number, and I was at the wrong place. I hate the fact that our air conditioning is leaking, leaving a huge puddle in the entrance hall. I hate the fact that my room is the only room in the apartment whose ethernet port isn't working. Fortunately, they accidentally put us in a 4-bedroom apartment, but it's a pain in the ass to relocate my computer to the empty bedroom every time I need to get online. I hate that I'm exhausted from having auditioned all day for the past two days, and that going to classes tomorrow might be a relief compared to this.

re tunes stuck in peopl'es haead - the missus went to see a theatrical version of Chitty Chtity Bang Bang on Friday night - all weekend she's been singin or humming the bloody theme tune

All I can say is that she's lucky the pick axe is in the shed and I can't remember where I put the shed door key...

I hate being stuck without a car.

I'm also dreading the start of classes tomorrow and a semester of getting up before 7:00.

I hate that I have to go to my grandad's funeral tomorrow. Or maybe I just hate the fact that I'll probably cry when one of those meet-your-maker hymns strikes up. Probably I just hate that I can't remember a single happy moment of my grandfather's life since over a decade ago...

I kind of know how you feel... My great grandfather is in bad shape--about the only thing that actually makes him happy anymore are me and my brother visiting him.

Yeah, keep us posted, sean. Sorry I haven't said anything before, but I hope your grandmother is alright.

I also hate that nearly all my friends here seem to have... um, disappeared to somewhere else. Please stick around, guys. I know things will get better soon!

EDIT: I also wish that Jay wouldn't keep being so close-mouthed to all of us. I mean, this is his community, so it'd be nice if he acted like he was a part of it. It just doesn't seem like him at all to brush everyone off like he's been doing. I love this place, and I don't want to take sides, but when one side starts blowing off other people who haven't even done anything, it just makes me wonder. Sorry if that's construed as whining, but things have gotten very far out of hand. Everything's become too serious. And I really think that Jay is doing nothing but hurting this forum by closing himself off. And I say this not to bash or insult but just to express my own opinion and try my best to keep things this place from completely imploding.
