I could be wrong, but if you intend to charge people real money to access copyrighted material, you're treading a fine line legally.

Also, if you charge people to download you covers...well...there's lots of free ones that look just as good.

No offense Falle, your stuff is great, really - do be careful though.

You're right.. I'm just trying to cover the expenses on the bandwidth, you know? But since you're right, I'll probably just make them free..

And I never intend to charge people for using my covers.. They are royalty free!

Unfortunately, it seems that he decided not to share them. My goal is to recreate them (except the spines, my current design better matches ep's 1/2/3) and offer them freely.

No, I hadn't. Thanks! I found the ROTJ poster, but its resolution is too low. If anyone has a bunch of poster artwork/logos/etc, please let me know. I can prepay for a CD or DVD and shipping. Of course, I'd probably offer the source images for free on my website, so keep that in mind

Thanks Boris! I actually found that thread this afternoon, but somehow I skipped over that link. So, thanks for bringing it back to my attention.

I haven't downloaded all those huge things yet, but I'm very hopeful it has the scan I need. I did notice one oddity.. there appear to be two different versions of Lando in that poster, and different computer consoles next to him...

Here's my boxset designs for those who want it. They're each meant for 5 cases. I recommend using some kind of matboard for the material, or cardboard of the same thickness if you can find it. Enjoy!

Falle, I have not been able to get on your site all day. Is everybody having this problem or is it just me?

The site works fine.. but all covers are gone

While I was uploading the downloads, I accidently deleted the covers folder... So now I've asked my host provider to insert the back-up, but they haven't responded to me yet. If they haven't got the back-up I must try and ask people for the covers..

Wow Falle, hope this teaches you to backup your work (once on your hard drive and another time on a cd/dvd would be best). You have really nice work man and shouldn't trust your host will always be on top of things. I have no idea if you're a student or work for a living, but if you want to go into graphic design in the future this is work you definitely want to show off. You have really great stuff man, I'd hate to see you lose it all (no matters who's fault it is, yours or the hosts).

Well said! It was Falle's excellent design work that inspired me to finally try to recreate the Lord Phillock covers I wanted. I have learned a lot and am having a blast. I hope you get your stuff back.

Falle: I have 6 of your covers (the summer set, I think it was called (with the stars in the background), and also the set with the grey/white backs), in case you end up needing them. I also have a request: I've rotoscoped the IV, V, and VI logos, and the ANH, ESB, and ROTJ spine lettering. I think these logos would be useful to future designers. Can I offer them for download on my logo page? I can list them with "Falle" as the author, or however you'd like.

Everyone: I've posted a logo rotoscoping tutorial on the wiki. Hopefully more tutorials will come as I overcome graphics obstacles. I also need to upload another batch of logos.

As far as the Lord Phillock (page 118) covers are concerned, I've completed ESB and ROTJ, so just ANH to go. They are slightly different than his covers (to match the ep 1/2/3 covers better), but they will have all source images available so feel free to modify them.

You have really nice work man and shouldn't trust your host will always be on top of things. I have no idea if you're a student or work for a living, but if you want to go into graphic design in the future this is work you definitely want to show off. I always back-up my stuff.. I have ALL of my SW covers on my computer, so that's not a trouble, I'll be uploading them soon if my host hasn't got a back-up (Of which I'm most positive, that they do.) And I have all of my other work scattered around on the net and back-up disc.. (Everything BUT Will Smith Collection).

So, you think I should show off my covers if I go into graphic design? Thanks, I'm very glad for your kind words. I can say that I recently turned 18 (It's not a lie..) and I'm still attending college, I'll be moving soon.. I've worked with Photoshop ever since 2002, so I also hope I'll go into professional graphics some day.

And no, I won't be needing my SW covers, as I already have them. I'll be needing my other covers! And sorry, I have to ask, what is rotoscoped? I'm an idiot, I know.. In any case, you can use them on your site, thanks for asking. Some people upload my stuff, editing them, without even asking me, and that make's me somewhat mad. I mean here we are, trying to do our best to please people, and some end up taking credit for it, you know? But go ahead and upload the logos, hopefully you'll also link me

Greetings my friends!

Hey, I didn't say I wasn't going to send them... it's just that right at this moment I'm not at home and my PC is a couple of thousand miles away from me right now.... In august I'll be alot more active and hand over my covers.... right now I'm writing from a hotel in good ol' austria... greetings from there!
