my chess/work schedule has been all fubar. things have come up (family issues etc) and it has prevented me to take my turns in a timely manner.

I bad feeling I'll going to blow the game against Skip.

Skip, I still think I have a chance against oojason in our 2nd game.

Have to say you've really upped your game since we 1st played - nice one.

It should be very interesting to see how we all get on if/when we do another tournament - I think there'll be a fair few surprises next time around...


Skipper - IF (and it's a big if) we do finish level on pts (am still playing Ric too), the tourny win should really go to you as you beat me twice - if that's ok with JediSage. But at the mo that looks very unlikely as Warbler looks to have the upper hand vs me)

yeah i have definatly shaken off alot of rust since the begining of the tourny, i still prefer to play a face to face game, or a yahoo game to this though.

well i think yahoo is very nicely set up, your pretty much playing in real time and so the biggest par tof chess comes into play then(fast thinking) you are alot more likely to make mistakes when you gotta think fast.

hahaha and hey i might be coming to england in a few months hahaha so ill come to you to play

we should play sometime then, send me a PM if you want to. real time is the best way to play. i can still boost that Skip has never beat me in a real time game hahaha, he has come very very close but he always makes mistakes, and forgets about peices, and then he has the odasity to say "it was pure luck that i had the peice placed there" hahaha (he hates bishops , isnt that right skip)

well i've downed warbler now, depending on how the games go with ric i think i have a chance at 3rd. looks like canada are going to bring in the gold and bronze
