I actually liked LFL's THX 1138 covers (both versions), but I agree that other than that and Tucker, they have a very bad track record with covers (I'm including the Indy DVDs in that statement as well - they were awful covers, too).

I've been bored out of my skull today, and going through all these old posts, I saw this one and remembered I thought the same thing too - I just made my own version after reading that, and if I ever figure out how to host a full-res version I'll post it for everyone to have. Can somebody please post here some dvd covers for Magnolia's Balance of the Force and Clone Wars edits which have recently been posted on alt.binaries.starwars.

I have looked through this thread and Rikter made some but they are not showing on the thread any longer.

Here's a new design I did... just in case the Release of the OOT DVD package will suck... (wich it will...)

Can anyone help me locate disc art for the Isomix set? I am using the Inksaver covers as found on Rikters cover DVD, but I can't seem to find any matching disc art

I dont know...but worse comes to worse, there is a TON of custom cover art available. Just choose somethign else.

Was there new art for the '05 set? I never bothered to find out.

I figure they might add some new covers since these have some kind of insignificant bonus disc that some fans might be interested in. Besides, they need to give the completists something to live for. And really, new covers can only be a good thing. Like they could get any worse.

I'm actually more curious, and somewhat concerned, about the disc art on the "bonus discs." As craptacular as the covers for the 2004 DVD were, they got the disc art pretty much perfect, with the classic posters easily making up for the big Roman numerals. Since it's likely the 2004-spec discs in the new sets will be exactly the same, where will they go with disc art on the OOT?

Great to hear that.

I am working on a new set at the moment for all 6 films which combines two fantastic covers from coov and fusion addict to make a hybrid set. I'm a bit aprehensive about posting other peoples labour of love as my own though.

Initial Impressions:

1. At least the metal bikini is on there.
2. No lightsabers on ESB.
3. The Vader pose on ESB is from the ROTS publicity campaign. Like they couldn't find a good pose from the "I am your father" scene.

LMFAO I jsut noticed that. They always fuck up on the ESB ones, they did on the 04 release and now with this one.
