Hello all.

I'm moving out of my apartment on Sunday and my phone line (and with it my internet access) is getting cut off in an hour and 20 minutes, so this will be the last time I talk to you before the April 30th deadline. Since my last post donations have been made by the following:

I just made a donation. It isn't alot, but I donated what I could. No one needs to send me the covers DVD as I don't feel right getting something for making a donation. I hope Laserman will be okay and be able to return to the Forum someday. That would be payment enough for me.

I just received this e-mail from Laserman:

Holy shit is this for real?

Wow, you have no idea what this means to us.

It will change our daily living in hundreds of little ways, and most importantly
will remove a massive level of stress from all of us and let us focus on trying
to beat this, rather than worrying if we are going to be tossed out of our flat
and have to live in the hospital dorms. It means my little girl can have a
proper birthday next month. It means our lives will be just that bit better
*every day*

Most importantly though, it is a massive psychological boost for all of us. Just
the thought that there are hundreds of people out there, that we have never met
are all thinking of us and willing to help for no reason other than that they
are good people and they care is just amazing.
This can be an extremely lonely and soul destroying thing to go through, but the
thought that there are a huge bunch of OT'ers with us on this, well, it just
blows our minds.
I really am at a loss for what to say, there are tears streaming down my face,
so I'll just say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU ALL!

I've heard nothing lately except news reports and articles about how selfish and
insular the world has become - I refuse to believe it, and you all just proved
it is bullshit.

On top of this good news Lucas has finally been bent by us all and we have
WON?!?!

That seriously makes all the work put into the project worth it.

I'd better stop typing before this turns into a Gwyneth Paltrow Oscars moment,
but seriously from me and my family, a huge heartfelt thanks, and if I make it
through this, rest assured I will be putting back into the Star Wars community
BIG TIME!

Love from all of us, and may the force be with all of you - always.

Laserman, if you're checking in here, I'm glad to hear we made a little difference in your battle. Hopefully not only with the funds help out monetarily, but will also buy some good will and positive energy for renewing your mind and body. I was just curious to know if my donation made it in on time and that it "did" make it?
