i dont get why people like this other than to compare it to modern trek, or whats wrong with trek. id rather watch ER if i want realistic drama

I agree that this week's episode was not quite as good as usual, however I will say that an off week for this show is still WAAAAAAY better than most anything else that's on.

Did anyone else pick up on Moore's comment in his blog about doing a clip show??? I think that would have been a serious mistake. Thankfully they opted out of doing it in favor of a "through the eyes of the cylons" episode.

Should be interesting when Rosilin meets Gina - especially after repeatedly seeing Baltar with 'her' so many times on Caprica - be even more interesting if Roslin can for some strange reason now see Six hanginig around Baltar...

To be honest I thought this would a clip show (thought it turned out a bottle show instead) - suppose they need to regin in the budget after treating us with some pretty impressive battle scenes the past couple of episodes. Still plenty of intrigue and possibilities...

man i havent really posting in here in a long time, haaa time to get back to the roots of why i liked this site so much.

ok so for dayv, i dont think they will, i have a feeling these are jsut filler/intruduction eps, since there are 6 more eps to come i am guessing we will see 2 more. yeah they might not be furthering the story too much but man are they making these characters way more interesting, really starting to flesh them out. this last one on apollo was very interesting, it really sucks what happened on pageasis i really liked that guy. but yeah i think that pegasis will be gone by the end of the season.

here is my prediction, spoilers:

galactica is going to get in some sort of confrontation with the cylons, theres probably going to be a big battle, during or after the battle, probably during that nuke that six got, will distroy pegasis. and gias (lol is really funny my roommate who i got into the show really dislikes gias, and he calls him gay-ass baltar now lol, he is also scottish and so with the accent its awesome) will be in alotta shit.

And supposedly we dodged the bullet as it were- they were supposed to do a 'clip show' this season but managed to convince Sci-Fi to extend the 'Pegasus' story over three instead of two episodes so we get all-new content all season.

I almost fell out of my chair when I read Moore's blog about a clip show. That would have been a serious mistake, IMO. Just can't imagine a clip show ever being appropriate for them.

Had thoughts to that end-of-season 2 travesty on Trek: TNG called "Shades of Grey" where Riker was stung by that malicious rose bush and the thorn made him "remember" things from his life. The answer was to make him think of the more painful memories to make him beter...

They kept playing this one clip where the tar creature that killed Tasha was dragging him down, and he keeps saying "Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeee!" at which point they keep looping the scene so we get "Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeee! Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeee! Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeee! Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeee!"

My revulsion level is already going up.

If that ends up happening (which sounds very plausible), I hope they transfer off some people, like that civilian that had invented the engines that ended up in the Blackbird.
