5. Expand the overall story

It’s in that order of precedence too.

This show made me wish Disney Plus had a double speed option. The dialogue was painful with all the sighing and pauses and the monotone. It felt like 20 minutes episodes stretched to ~40 minutes almost the whole time.
All the characters I liked from the previous shows were downgraded here in some way. Ahsoka is boring, Hera lost her assertiveness, Thrawn feels like he is just pretending all the failures are part of some master plan, and Sabine is just irresponsible to the point of being an insult to herself in the cartoon. The only ones I think were portrayed correctly were Chopper and Ezra, but I didn’t really like him in the cartoon anyway.
It also highlights how much the sequels bring down the franchise for anything past RotJ, the new republic being incompetent in the way presented is just very disappointing. The lack of OT characters in this also feels odd.
But I feel kind of guilty to say that I enjoyed some aspects quite a lot. The aesthetics are just right and I think Baylan and Shin were cool.

Shut up. CGI isn’t bad and TPM doesn’t lore prequels than AOTC an ROTS. All three films look equally like prequels. Your nostalgia pandering is ignorant
