are the credits of the Special Edition 1997 and 2004 the same?
I like the Special Edition 1997 because of nostalgia.

are the credits of the Special Edition 1997 and 2004 the same?
Pretty much, mate.
There seems to be a slight different font used in the 2004 DVDs (less bold looking) - and there are a few odd credits where a person’s name has is omitted or added etc. An example: under ‘Sound Editors’ there is no Richard L Anderson listed in the 2004 credits (where he is listed in the 1997 credits).
I think there are some ‘comparison videos’ up on youtube covering the end credits for the various releases of the Star Wars films - though it has been a while… if you find a good example or two please post them up here. 👍
A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…
