Figured I’d kick things off as a newbie here, and pick your brains on a non-movie topic!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about KOTOR 1 & 2 but never got around to playing them. Given they’re so old there’s obviously been a heap of mods to improve the overall experience, but I’m honestly overwhelmed with what’s out there and if there’s a definitive list for the best overall experience going in blind.
Any suggestions where to look, what to install - what to avoid?
I’ve no idea, myself. Though there are a number of KOTOR threads on here - some may feature what you’re looking for…

Take your time to look around this site before posting… Do NOT just lazily make yet another ‘link request’ post - or a new thread asking for projects.
I had a quick squiz at those - however, this forum is a veteran of the internet, and most of those threads are two decades old! Though it is very interesting to see feedback from when it first released.
For the second game, I would definitely try out the “content restored” mod that reintroduces a lot of content that was cut from the game due to rushed production. Otherwise you can just play the versions on steam or console.
