Best known currently as Leo McGarry on the West Wing (the VP Running mate for Bail Organa, I mean Matt Santos), John Spencer has passed away at the age of 58.

As a long-time West Wing fan, I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Spencer's passing yesterday. He'll certainly be missed, as his acting was still one of the high points of a show that was beginning to unravel after years of excellence.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Spencer.
