Just wanted to give a big thanks out to ADigitalMan for the sweet edit job. It's nice to see these films "fresh" again with the included deleted scenes now seamless with the movie. As we eagerly await the DL version of EpIII I was wondering what the differences between the Special Edition and the Extended Editions were for ROTS? Also, any plans to add menus and stuff in the future? Thanks again!!

the extended version is the same movie you saw in the theater with all the deleted scenes put back in,the ADM special edition is the same movie,with deleted scenes and a NICE ADM editing job,example,taking the midichlorians talk out,lower the voice of the droids,cutting out useless stuff,shortening vaders "Noooooooooooooo"and the sweetest thing adding Qui Gonn into the film(voice only)and as far as menu's,i think ADM keeps them this way to save room on the disc for all the important stuff,i personally like HIS menu's very much,short and sweet and to the point,dont need anything more than that,in my opinion,i could be wrong on why ADM makes his menu's that way,but i am sure he will tell us when he reads his thread.
and the SL and DL versions are already on there way out to everyone

superb job ADM, m8 - really enjoyed watching your Edit. The inclusion of voices from other films worked really well - and seamlessly fitted in with the story.

Trooperman, the transition looks outstanding. Care to PM me with details on how you pulled them off?

Whenever writable Blu-Ray comes into vogue it may be worth me doing all this work again and putting the transitions in, 'cause they do look great.

I've apparently successfully brainwashed myself. Having just watched Batman Begins for the first time since my ROTS project, I heard myself thinking in a couple of spots "Hey, wait, he said that in Star Wars." Even lines that I ended up not using had that effect because I spent a lot of time on them too. I had to reset my thinking during BB.

Is the DL ADM Edit for 3 the only version which will get posted to the newsgroups or might the DL extended version be posted at some point in the future, too? Trying to decide on whether to wait or eventually join the trading tree of dvds.

Ok, my computer is back up and running after some hefty upgrades.

I have the Single Layer and Dual Layer versions of 4,5 & 6, but I only have 3 DL DVDrs which means only one set burned on Dual Layer but I can still put the Dual Layer on a single layer DVDr using DVD Shrink. So the first 3 PMs will get there choice of the SL or DL versions. The first PM will get the DL burned on DL DVDRs and the other 2 can have the DL or SL burned on SL DVDRs. Let the PMs begin.

Ok I have 4 people I am sending out to so please no more PMs. I will let them know when they go out via this thread.

are there any covers or labels available for the superb back-to-childhood inducing 'Spoofs' dvd?

I created a pretty good cover for this when I made the compilation about a year ago. Boba Feta is updating it to match the style of his other covers.

I too am anxious to see what ADM has done with Episode III.... I LOVED his work with Ep. I and II, and am a nervous wreck everytime I check myspleen.com and don't find it there.

Where else can I get a copy of the Dual Layer ADM Episode III version?
