Star Wars DVD Covers — Page 62

Whilst scanning it I noticed the reverse of the cover - hadn't really paid much attention to it before, but the image would make a great custom cover.

Just finished putting together my own cover for an OT boxset. I'm pretty happy with it - it looks really nice when printed on photo glossy paper as the white really shines. I was trying to find a middle ground between a clean modern feel and a retro design. Let me know what you think

You can download the hugeass version here (2.3mb)

I have a series of single disc covers too but I'll post those when I've done them all (haven't done ROTJ yet). They are the same design but with the real opening crawl and the same images for the films here except ESB is the Style B version which was too light to work on the trilogy cover.

I love the retro look of that cover, AbsoluteDestiny! I am looking forward to the single-disc covers.

But you made one mistake. You credited Anthony Perkins. He was never in Star Wars !
I believe you meant Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO.

Ahahahaha. That would be one weird C3P0 wouldnt it. Heh, see that's why I post it here before sticking it on the shelf

I have those 2 covers. They are great though I think they would look better with Alec Guinness as OB1, so all the characters are as we saw them for the last time (perhaps the older Yoda in the OT would be better as well). Any bored artists willing to give it a go?

Has anyone seen these custom boxes before? They are made out of metal with laser-etched artwork. These look really nice!

This is meant to hold all 7 SW dvd's (6 movies plus bonus features dvd)

Here's another set that holds the 7 dvd's.

This is a set of four cases that line up to form a single image. The four cases are:

1)The Original Trilogy case can hold up to 8 of the myriad bootleg DVDs (in 4 double Amaray) that are out there for the OT, which include different transfers of the films with different special features, the classic documentaries, etc.

2)The Prequels Trilogy, will hold the three 2-DVD sets (once ROTS comes out), plus a custom 2-DVD case designed to hold the "Clone Wars" series (once both of those discs come out).

3)The Special Edition Trilogy, is for the official release -- Episodes IV-VI, plus the Bonus Material DVD.

4)The Saga Continues case can house the Ewok movies, the Ewok and Droids animated specials, R2-D2 Beneath The Dome, etc.

These boxes are quite pricey. I plan on getting the set of four cases soon. Here's a link if you want to see where to get them: DVD Cases

Same here.

I've used the 10 disc cover art for many x-mas box sets that I'll be handing out this year. All comprising of various fan edits and bonus discs.
I envy the lucky gits who will open them up this Christmas time
