Who is "Dave Fine" (audio restoration?)

Mike Verta mentioned “Dave Fine” as the go-to guy for all things audio concerning '77. Googling, I came up with zilch for a " Dave Fine".
Supposedly, Mr Fine was in the YouTube live stream chat for Mike’s 25 May 2020 video here: https://youtu.be/G3W_O-tp0_g

Hi 13hm13,

There is a thread for discussing Mike’s 25th May '20 livestream, here - Info: Mike Verta’s 4K Restoration - May 2020 Livestream

It may be worth searching that, and maybe Mike’s StarWarsLegacy.com - The Official Thread to see if there is a mention there?

Good luck with it mate. 👍

I’m not positive this is the correct answer, but perhaps it’s David C. Fein? This link ahead says, “Producer David C. Fein has shared with StarTrek.com an exclusive peek behind-the-scenes with first look images and details directly from the sound mix

ST:TMP is 1979 and SW is 1977, so maybe this is an area of specialty for him?

I don’t really know (for sure) though, just guessing for you.

LightWave = fun times with gfx for me 😃

Hmmmm … yeah, I’m not sure about the spelling.
Good info on ST-TMP … my fave ST movie of them all. Looking forward to the latest version of that.
